Tszyu is the kind of fighter that won't wait for anybody's excuses. He's right. Had he waited for Jermell Charlo, he would be approaching 2 years layoff now. Charlo even promised to come back for Tszyu when he was promoting the Canelo fight. See the ridiculousness of waiting for fight when there are fights that are readily available to keep things moving and staying busy?

I figured as much. There's no #1 or 2 in the IBF so by default that makes Lubin the mando to the IBF belt, no way is he going to go into a high risk low reward fight against Tszyu. High risk, but not exactly a low reward, and it all depended on how his manager negotiated the fight. Aside from his purse offered by Aussie promoters, he gets automatic cut from the US feeds. No one can take that away from him.
