The african american is the most protected, privelaged boxer in the sport today. They get the nod every single time and in close decisions too. This was clearly a political decision to take away ryan's win. If haney was a white guy no one would have even cared. When has someone failed a drug test and the decision not been overturned if the positive test is discovered after the fact? Almost never. Pretty stupid take. Many decisions have turned to NC after the winner fails a drug test, regardless of race. The decision was overturned because NYSAC found enough evidence to do that. What it took, months? They investigated it for quite a while before coming to this conclusion. I trust they did their due diligence and gave Ryan Garcia a fair chance to prove his innocence.
