Seeing Rosado get beat black and blue. Going back to his corner hemorroghing bloodclots coming out of his nose.
then GGG gets on the mic, “he is a ….good boi”
lmfao fuarrrrkkkkkkkkkk
Yea, GGG's English was bad. He said something about Ward being "too much", probably meaning he talks too much, but which was interpreted as Ward being too much for GGG to handle.
Glove King could have been so much more.
But, at the end of the day, he got 3 'Nelo paydays plus that extra for the ginger popping dirty.
He's all right, financially speaking.
he never had a translator

he just came out and said, " GABE ......... AH......... HE IS A GOOD BOI!"
I know Gennady said it himself but what I'm saying is he went - using his broken English - for a literal rendering of a term which carries different connotations in his native tongue than it does in English.
I'm kinda used to that shit - my dad was a native Greek speaker and idiom really doesn't translate well in many languages. Trick is to use other cues like tone, expression, body language and background knowledge to gauge intent and untangle the sense of em
Lost in translation that 'good boy' thing... probably he was trying to say Gabe was a 'молодец' - molodets - which carries more the sense of a 'solid guy' or a 'tough lad' in context - a common compliment if you ever listen to Russian boxing commentary, like when a fighter displays unusual grit or heart or toughness.

Correct. Basically "good job". Interpretation doesn't always go very well. I don't know which guy interpreted that, but I do remember thinking GGGs interpreter was lacking.
