Catterall imo won both fights. Bob is full of shit complaining about judges after he orchestrated the judges to give Teo (over Martin) and Josh wins to set that fight up.
Either do a trilogy or Taylor should move up to 147 and Catterall should get a final eliminator or title fight. Catterall is worst possible stylistic matchup for Teofimo
Interesting to hear Eddie slip by the way and reveal Haney vs Sandor Martin next.
That’s a good fight for Haney coming off the Ryan Garcia cheat fest screw job.
I dont understand why everybody was so down on Catterall during and after the fight. He clearly won that. Commentators with the "Taylor forcing the pressure " tripe. He was coming forward.....and eating punches all night. He was tough....but tough doesnt win fights. Catterall slightly fatiguing brought Taylor a little closer...but not near enough to close the gap. When it was needed....Catterall pulled some back and thats what kept him in front the whole fight.
Don't need a trilogy. Caterall has already beaten him twice, no matter what the official record says. Let's see Caterall take on Isaac Cruz or Teo. That's more interesting and he deserves another opportunity to win a world title.
He deserves a shot at Lopez. Lopez has the legitimate championship (lineal, TBRB, Ring, WBO) that should've gone to Catterall in the first place. Haney, Matias, and Cruz have trinkets that were stripped from Taylor.
