Hey so before the Crawford v Spence fight most thought it was 50/50 or 60/40 for Crawford but it was a one sided fight
Fury v Usyk will be one sided like Crawford v Spence imho
I really think fury will grind usyk down and clinch, lean on him and exhaust him
Fury is amazing at using his size and the only one who he couldn't do that against was ngannou and I think that's because of ngannous MMA experience where the clinch is huge
Usky will gas and and get stopped
Fury will beat usyk the way AJ should have
Fury by KO
your thoughts?
The fight was not one sided.
It was even or fury 1 up going into the 9th,and it looked like Usyk was on his way to being stopped.
One punch in the 9th round turned the fight around, credit to Usyk for landing it.
7-5 with 1 knockdown, Usyk sustained a broken jaw and took 19 shots less than fury only.
Usyk pinched the opening 2 rounds, Fury dominated the mid rounds, Usyk dominated the late rounds plus got a knockdown.
It was Usyk by 1 knockdown and the 2 early rounds basically.
That's not even remotely comparable to Crawford vs Spence, this was a somewhat competetive fight.
This never happened. A lie made up by Warren and Fury's team.
Fury sustained a beating like never before however.
This thread aged terribly. OP was off on nearly everything.
Usky won't hurt fury let alone drop him or stop him
Can't see it tbh and I do love usyk
Only way usyk could ever win is by points decision and I can't see it because of Fury's attributes, too big and too strong as froch would say lol :boxing:
The thread didn't age well, just as I predicted. And I can see you since haven't returned here as promised.

you got it backward, but yeah it kinda was
That was a very long time ago and fury has improved so much, if his chin was still that bad he wouldn't have got up from those wilder knock downs
Yea I agree though that he's taken a lot of wear and tear abusing his body and being in some tough fights too
Should have been KO'd by a CW tonight :lol1:
Just posting this ahead of the fight.
If anyone is going to be Crawford in this fight, it’s Usyk.
Usyk will win at long range; and if Fury tries to press and fight on the inside, he will see how tough it is to fight that fight against Usyk. He will gas himself going that route too early.
Fury’s a great fighter, he will adjust if something isn’t working, but Usyk is built to defeat him.
otto won many rounds against fury….i suggest you sit down and watch that again becaue if yiu think wallin only won 1 round your an idiot
go rewatch it and tell me which rounds was it then lol. He was outlanded in all of them rounds. Round 12 was probably his round and the round which he caused the cut was round 3, but he also got outlanded that round.
go on tell me which rounds i watched it over 5 times
Yea i love usyk ngl and I think he's amazing, I just think size wise fury will be way too much for him
If fury keeps jabbing him and keeping him at reach it will potentially be a nightmare for usyk as fury loves to faint like usyk does too
I think if both men were the same dimensions I'd probably say usyk as he's better technically but that's in an ideal world, going off Fury's heights reach and weight advantage I think usyk will have bitten off more then he can chew
Usyk can't stop him as big punchers like wilder and Klitschko couldn't and I don't think fury sees anything from usyk as intimidating apart from mahhe his work rate and punches in bunches, saying that I think when someone come sfor a.fight against fury it's exactly what he needs to get that fire in his belly
I can only see this going wrong for usyk and I'm an usyk fan too
styles make fights but also do attributes and Fury's attributes are a stretch too much for usyk imho
Agree 100%. I’ve been saying all along that this is a classic “good big man versus good small man” contest. All things being equal, I’d give the nod to Usyk. But things are far from equal. Fury enjoys a massive size advantage, while being skilled, smart, mobile and courageous. He doesn’t even have to punch hard. When blows come from a 6’9”, 260 lb. man with telephone poles for arms, anyone will feel them. I just don’t see this being that difficult for Tyson. We’ll revisit this after the fight. Enjoy, man.
If this fight turns out anything like Crawford/Spence, which is unlikely, Usyk is the Crawford here.

The reasons why I thought Fury would win this fight haven't changed but the Ngannou performance has cast all the doubt. That and Usyk is just a phenom.
Usyk has to be levels above Fury to win this. I didnt think he was but he might be now.
Let's come back to this thread after the fight my friend :boxing:
p.s either way I hope they don't stink the place out and hope it's a cracking tear up regardless to who wins :boxing:

Nah Usyk too good and slick to let that happen.. I got Usyk in this one. Too good, too crafty for Fury
Yea he's good but fury is a good boxer with good iq and knows how to rough up fighters especially guys who are a lot smaller
After 3 fights with Wilder, we saw Fury fight Whyte, Chisora and Ngannou. And he took a knockdown from the last one (which Joshua finished in 2 rounds). We don't know with 100% certainty how Fury is doing after the war with Wilder.
It's normal for the bigger fighter to win, but if Fury lost a lot in the 3 fights with Wilder (he took several bombs), Usyk could end up winning.
