I Watched Lomachenko vs Haney 5 Times and each time I had Lomachenko winning 8-4.
There were some close rounds but the most I can see is a draw.
It's hard for me to see a way that Haney won and certainly hard for me to see a way that Haney won 8 rounds.
One of the judges inexplicably had Haney winning the 10th round which I thought was clearly a Lomachenko.
Like what Paulie says: when have you ever seen the B side get the result? You basically have to KO the A side or win a total 10 plus rounds. Just watch Canelo vs GGG fights 1 and 2.
Kambosos vs Lopez
Harrison vs Charlo
Bivol vs Canelo
Fundora vs Tszyu
Williams vs Hurd
Arum, I still don't know what exactly his play was, just like I'll never understand the Bradley robbery of Pac.
I think it truly is just incompetent judges most of the time.

This is how elite Loma is. Half of the guys here felt like he beat Haney, while Haney had all the advantage. Haney was +160 lbs in the ring..
This is ridiculous. Haney didn’t have all of anything.
Bob knew he was struggling to make 135. He extended the date as long as possible to give Loma the best chance to win.
How about Haney getting some balls and fighting somebody of his size. Why not Ennis at 147?
It is a great fight between two unbeaten black Americans in historically glamour division.
I'm not fond of Haney, but he IS one of the guys who's actually fighting some of the others. Took on Gamboa, Linares, JoJo Diaz, Kambosos twice in Australia with B-sides terms, Loma, Prograis, soon Ryan Garcia. That's not a bad resume TBH. If he also fights any of Lopez, Matias, Cruz, Tank, then he really deserves some acknowledgement. Everyone knows I think Loma should have gotten the win, but Haney has been willing to bet on himself and take pretty hard fights, especially in comparison to Tank Davis. Even Shakur swerved Haney, and now look at where his career is going. He won't be able to make 140 much longer, but as long as weight cuts are a part of the sport, if he can make weight, he gets credit for the fight IMO. And I'm in favor of banning weight cuts.

Loma was mid 30s and belongs at 130 while big head Haney belonged at 140. He was probably 155-160 on fight night. Loma was probably 134-137 on fight night.
On paper Haney had nearly every advantage and still lost in many eyes. Even if he "won" he barely won.
Ya Haney is very overrated
Can't find (m)any people who thought Haney won AND are willing to commit to rounds that Haney won.
I can’t recall which rounds. Not that I am not committing to it
I believe Haney won a close tough fight. I am fine if you disagree.
To call this a robbery is imo simply ridiculous.
I had Haney 7-5. Don’t recall the exact rounds now.
Fight night I did say my score, draw , or Loma 7-5 would be acceptable and understandable. I thought it was a very close fight.

Lopez fought OK in the Loma fight but just because Loma doesn’t steamroll you like the others it means you got the W ? Makes no sense especially when you get dominated in the champions ship rounds.
People forget that Lopez fought equally shyte in the early rounds: hitting blocks, missing, not taking initiative etc. Lopez never dominated a second of that fight.
Lopez fought very smart in the first half of that fight
He did what a lot of fighters never did vs Loma...utilise a long jab and most importantly, a pivot. If you can use your jab effectively off a pivot, you can essentially make Loma's angles useless because he's forced to try and change angles from way to far out, the degrees becomes so much more, imagine the inside and edge of a circle.
because the pivot completely nullified Loma being able to use angles, Loma would have to resport to trying to run red lights to land anything and risk being clipped by Lopez. That's why Loma was basically ineffective for 6 rounds and hesitant.
He only really came back into the fight when Lopez started losing discipline to the game plan, but Teo got back on it at the very end.
For all the flack Teo's team get, that was actually the smartest gameplan anyone ever come up with vs Loma. Its basically a solid blueprint on how to beat him if you can carry it out and stick to the gameplan with discipline .
Yeah Loma isnt going to "grow" into 140 so the fight night weight advantage would be even larger there.
Yup. Loma isn’t going to control the rematch after losing.

If nobody is really landing much, the judges will generally give the rounds to the more active guy. You could even say he gave loma more openings by being more active, Loma wasnt letting his hands go, his fault for not securing the rounds and leaving them to the judges.
No. Haney was struggling to make 135. The rematch would have to he at 140, which wouldn’t have been for the LW titles.
Loma can get a rematch at 140 but you know that doesn’t make much sense.
lmfao. Prograis was a tough top tier JWW. If Loma had chosen him you’d be fine with it.

didnt loma want the rematch but haney didnt? i dont think choosing prograis and garcia is a good direction but its a safer direction. they know they lost that fight and they arent going to revisit it.

If you've watched and scored a fight the same way 4 times already it could be considered a waste of time to give another try but you just had to make sure.
Actually interesting that each time I watched it I had it 8-4 but some of the times I had different rounds go for each fighter

Doing ''something'' > Doing nothing
Defense only counts when you counter off it.
Otherwise it just looks like a guy doesn't want to be in there
(Nelo vs that Charlo ''guy'' and Mikey vs Spence comes to mind)
Would you mind sharing your scorecard then? Which rounds did you give Haney, and why?
I had Haney 7-5. Don’t recall the exact rounds now.
