They are just as fickle as they have always been, you know why, because the majority don't know what they looking at, they follow and swallow the hype which is quicksand, so rather than drowning they jump on another bandwagon and repeat it over and over.
I wish they would collectively find a nice patch of QS and have a ball.
Boxing fans are ''weird''
At 1st, Francis was a ''legit threat'' because ''Fury didn't really beat him and Fury is the best !''
AJ made quick and hysterical work of him and all of a sudden Francis is garbage.

AJ did what any top boxer should do with an MMA fighter.
Fury stained boxing with his performance, AJ put it right.
I don't think Parker hurts Ngannou.
Ill take that bet.
The biggest problem with MMA guys in boxing is the UFC & their fooked up contracts not losing fights. And the UFC has the most sellable & known guys at or near their prime. After Ngannou got out of his contract they've switched up all their deals to make it harder to get out of your contract.
Theres a bunch of mma guys boxing at any time usually. Non-ufc guys aren't usually stopped from boxing. If you look up random ufc guys who'll often find out they had 1 or 2 boxing matches before they got to the ufc. Sh^t Anthony Pettis still hasn't boxed since beating RJJ almost a year ago. He could surely get a bigger fight in the near future with a 1-0 record & that W is over a HOFer. Rampage Jackson has been talking about fighting Shannon Briggs lately. Cyborg has been boxing & trying to lure Shields into a beef.
Fury made believers in Francis, in the start it was Fury would destroy him, but for the first time after that fight people were really thinking Francis can do this, now its a landslide back to the MMA guy has no chance, if you cant sell that chance of winning you don't really have anything to sell. I thought at the time that Fury didn't train for it so it was a bit of a mirage, I just think its going to be a while before they can sell the right situation and the right two guys, there are whispers about Manny and Mcgregor be interesting if they go down that road.
Maybe the MMA angle finally hit with casuals with that fight. Respect to Floyd & Conor.
Boxing has a long history of trying to push boundaries with novelty fights (blindfolded boxers, fighting bears & kangaroos, Ali vs wrasslers & football players, Foreman vs 5 guys, celebrity boxers, etc & so on) its bout time it hit a trend ppl are into with MMA guys & influencers.
Yeah, that's true, although I don't think they can sell a MMA guy in a boxing ring for quite a while after today.
That was dangerous. I felt like Ngannou was dead for a moment.
Bums shouldn`t be allowed to fight top pro boxers in boxing matches.
It actually reminded me of Manny getting pole axed, I had that bad feeling when that happened and I had it again today with Francis.
Supposedly Francis made $20M today. He got KO'd in a sport where Errol Spence & other P4P discussed guys who have been doing it for 2 decades, give or take, also get KO'd.
I doubt ppl are gonna be scared of making $20M over getting KO'd in a sport where mfers get KO'd for $400, $2k or far less than $20M almost always.
Boxing is more popular than its been in decades & its because of ppl like Francis, Jake Paul & the old legends fighting novelty fights. Unfortunately the ppl who've been doing this for decades don't want to take the same risks to fight in competitive fights or as dogs like these guys that are helping the sport reach new eyes are to have gotten boxing to where it is now.
To be honest, it probably would not have happened without Mayweather McGreggor doing such crazy numbers that showed the powers that it can be a huge public money pot. just need the right two at the right time.
hopefully we don't see anymore of these mma guys getting shots at the top guys anymore. If they want to start boxing, they need to work their way up the rankings like every other boxer.
This is true but you can hardly blame the MMA guys, its on boxing to have some integrity again and not allow it to happen. The door has been opened and these guys are just taking a high risk high reward route. Still cant believe we somehow ended up here. Imagine saying in like 2017/18 that Fury and AJ would both fight a UFC champion before they fought each other.
Tyson almost destroyed Heavyweight boxing reputation by being a lazy fat dastardly who goes on fat camps. Anthony Joshua however restored order, I haven't been as interested in boxing since Tyson Fury embrassing performance.
Thank You AJ!
