the thing is, the way Haney's bit back, it just puts more pressure on him and will make things worse if he gets beat. It would have been better to play it down and say 'floyd's a legend'

People only put **** on Mayweather because of his personality and ego in interviews and just talking with him. He's always made it about him, even when he's promoting other fighters. I'm not sure he's acting anymore at that point and that's just him being him. I think the villain persona died once he "officially" retired from boxing. Floyd retired at 38 when Devin Haney was 17 years old. That is the same age that Devin Haney was getting manhandled by an older Tank Davis which we have the leaked video proof. So I know that the floyd who beat Pacquaio wasnt getting beat by a 17 year old haney.... so that even IF this story is true, Haney's dad is bragging about Haney having a "sparring win" over a 40 something retired Floyd. What am I missing? All I've been seeing is the Haneys have been saying not exactly nice things on Mayweather. Bill said, after the dismantling of Prograis, not even Floyd accomplished what his son has. It intensified when Floyd tried to take their dream fight RGarcia away from them and scrambled to look for alternative fights. Any recent response from Floyd? It appears to be their "dream fight" even if only to pour all their grudges against the Garcia family, which surfaced in the press conference. Who would have known they had unpleasant history?

Where’d you come up with this? A video where Haney’s father says it on social media regarding the sparring session Floyd had with Devin before the Conor fight. The next sentence out of his mouth was- Well when you have the money Floyd has he isn’t salty.
