Definitely not getting that Tank vs Haney fight. Not that we were getting it anyway, but this is the final nail in the coffin. I guess those were all Loma's fans buying the last PPV.
No-one outside of boxing fans has heard of Haney or Prograis.
Want to know how you change that?
Stop putting them on effing PPV!
Haney is good enough that he could really be built into something. No-one is doing it.
Haney/Prograis really should've been on regular DAZN.
Definitely not a big draw. But the business of boxing is hellbent on dumping enormous amounts of money into this guy. The bosses of boxing are always looking for the next Oscar De la Hoya or Floyd Money Mayweather Jr. They want to recapture the golden age outrageous PPV buys, so Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney are going to be continuously pushed onto the fans.
- - l'l floydy couldn't draw flies until he skipped out on the first Manny fight after he crackdaddy accuse Manny of drugs. Mysteriously signs with infrared lit underground Vegas bunkered Hayman and he becomes big PPV.
Light in the loafer Americans say, "Hey, he our guy," and the rest history.
Jake Paul just KOed a 300th ranked cruiser for a huge amount of $$$, ie the current Boxing model of promoting and ranking is as outdated as the Ford Model T in the 1960s.
I like Haney but for some reason he’s not a big draw
The reason is he's boring to watch and also ugly af
the fact his biggest W is a robbery over Loma doesn't help either
I like Haney but for some reason he’s not a big drawFor one reason he's not a draw is because he keeps jumping from one network to the other or from one platform to another platform.
One day he is on ESPN and the other he is on the DAZN. He has to give a promoter a chance to properly develop and build his brand. Just take a good look at Gervonta Davis and Mayweather Promotions for example.
Davis' crowd pleasing style coupled with Mayweather's star power has turned Tank into a mega box office Draw.

I take it that you are not a fan of the bruvvas!
Rick Glaser isn’t a credible source.
With that said, I bought the PPV but was very skeptical of the PPV buys because of the very shady business practice of having to purchase a DAZN subscription in order to buy the PPV. That probably deters a lot of buys.

What’s with your weird negative obsession with Haney? He raw dog your girl?
There's no doubt that Haney is a bigger name following the fight though. Its all boxing news has been about.
OP can't stop talking about him either.
If the numbers are true, not good. But its raised his profile for future fights for sure.
But frankly, does it really matter to most boxing fans whether Haney sells well or not? Everyone except the Haneys already knew it was going to flop, and unsurprisingly it flopped. Haney won't be a draw no matter who he fights unlike Tank who will make money regardless of which cookie crumb he fights.
Comparing their accomplishments right now, decades later when the boxing historians look back at the lightweights of this era they will probably rate Haney, Loma and Teo as the best of the generation. Shakur will be below all three unless he unifies multiple belts at 135, and Tank would barely get into the top 5.

The only draws in boxing are obviously Canelo, Tank and Ryan and I still wanna see Tank and Ryan separately on ppv because I'm not convinced they can draw without eachother.
We all know the most PPV’s Tank could ever hope for has been on the table for 5 years and he’s never been interested.
LOMA.
They don’t care about the money. They’re just trying to build a MYTH and you SUCKERS are falling for it. Never seen a boxer that has fought a bunch of average fighters get so much praise.
