Devin is now better than Floyd and Crawford according to Bill Haney.
It’s getting out of control. Lost to Loma, beat Regis, now he’s TBE.
I think Regis is a good fighter. But his style doesn't match up well with someone who's a pure boxer. Regis is a hard hitting counter-puncher, and Haney knows how to control distance. He made Regis come to him, and at that moment, the fight was over for Regis.
I really do think that he had the right plan at first. I had Regis winning the first and maybe the second round because of his body work. Once he was dropped, his whole plan went out the window. It rattled him so much that he forgot the plan. He didn't go to the body after that.
There a lots of good fighters, there is also a huge gap from them to ATGs and HOF guys, that's my point beating Regis doesn't qualify the waffle about outdoing a genuine ATG whose resume craps all over Devins, Bill just lighting fires and its so see through , the funny part is where some fans will buy it.
Other than Loma , the rest of Haneys list cannot rate or beat any fighter on Mays resume.
Haney can box and is sure to win a slew of fights, many times I seen Floyd blow somebody out, and many times I watched Floyd go toe to toe in a phonebooth with huge punchers, Devin has so far to go to be mentioned with Floyd, it seems to me when guys win WTs or have a certain style similar to a great they make out they beat King Kong, Prograis was an overrated guy who never beat an elite guy, Josh Taylor is nothing special at all, Victor Postal level and Regis was beat, the fans of the today are becoming so plastic they have no clue concerning depth and real quality of a fighter its all hype and jumping on bandwagons, all of a sudden many B+ A guys are HOF ATG level guys.

Devin Haney: "I am the face of boxing. I'm the guy that's taking the risks, going to go fight the best fighters in the world, staying active, selling out arenas, and I'm taking real fights doing it. I'm not a guy picking, choosing or ducking, none of this. I'm offering the so-called best fighters contracts, like Shakur Stevenson. I am the epitome of the face of boxing."

I remember he said that Haney would school Tank. I don't think he was just saying that. Last time Tank sparred Haney, Devin was a kid. Even Broner says that. At this point, I think Tank would get outboxed.
Anyway, I remember when Floyd Sr. was training Devin and what he was saying about him. Still, I don't think he's nearly as good as Floyd Jr.
Tank wasn’t in shape when they sparred and it was also Dogghouse rules. So who knows how long the rounds were. Also Tank was fresh off of a cross country flight if I remember right. As good as Haney is I think Tank is too explosive.

He’s right, Mayweather rematched the fight many said he lost. (Castillo)
A little over enthusiastic, but Haney clearly has the size and enough pop to go up to welter.
I would love to see Haney challenge some of the names at 147.
Maybe the Haneys still resent Floyd for not giving them shelter in the Mayweather Promotions when they were promotionally homeless. They ended up with Hearn, whom they're still eternally grateful.

No where near as good as Floyd as it stands. I highly doubt he ever will be.
All these young guys just need to fight each other.
Prograis landed just 36 punches on Haney over 12 rounds. That will be fresh on people’s minds until he fights an elite fighter.
Tank, Stevenson, and Teofimo are all far better than Prograis and would all be harder or just as hard as Lomachenko.
Floyd Sr used to be Haney’s trainer don’t forget.
For quite a while too.

Just like you're obsessed with me? :lol1::lol1: Let's see how long you stalk me. You're on every single one of my threads, and replying to almost every post. You've been stalking me for about a week now. Basehead. :crackhead

OP is as obsessed with Haney as Leicesterage is with Crawford. Forums attract so many obsessive weirdos, presumably because they don't have an outlet for it anywhere else in life.
The D3vil - here he is again, haha.
And you're a "snowflake." :lol1::lol1: Basehead, snowflake.

Not true, at 25 Floyd had already beaten Castillo twice, Corrales, Chavez and whoever else I am forgetting.
I'm not really understanding Bills angle here and it seems a little disrespectful to me given how much the Mayweathers have done for Devin and his development and they've always been very respectful and sang Devins praises. Maybe he said it to try ruffle a few feathers and get that Tank fight, I'm not sure.
Yeah. I had the same thought. Floyd was saying that he actually wanted to promote Devin rather than Tank. He said it could have been Devin in there with Garcia or something like that, but that he still respects him and that he's " a helluva a fighter." lol
Definitely disrespectful, but Bill is a master grifter. I suppose I shouldn't be surprised.
