Boxing fans are desperate for a super fight. We watch all those HBO Legendary Night episodes and really want a fight like Leonard vs Hearns but these days we'll be lucky to get a De La Hoya vs Trinidad. The moment Spence decided to drive drunk that night the fight against Crawford was a foregone conclusion.​

Imagine the GGG kell brook fight. but 100x worse as Spence was ejected out of his metal car at high speeds and knocked unconscious on concrete. a human being cannot be the same after such trauma. this is on top of the fact Spence was overrated to begin with. He’s a titlist in 1 weight class with 5 defences against scrubs. this win is completely overrated

Nope, it was an excellent when it was signed and right up until the first bell went. all boxing fans were excited for it. It was pretty much a 50/50 split on who would win. Just because it ended up being one sided doesn't mean it was all hype. It just means Crawford is better, as half the people thought. Was Spence damaged goods? I dunno, but he beat Garcia and Ugas more convincingly than anybody else had up until that point, and those were after his crash. In fact, Ugas was never the same after the Spence fight.
