Boxing is still far superior to MMA in many ways

UFC and Dana White basically have a monopoly of world class MMA fighters. Fighters who demand to be treated as world class athletes are treated will be attacked by Dana White and the UFC. Francis Ngannou had to leave the UFC and come to boxing to make big money. UFC will never allow MMA to be as big as boxing as long they are the premier organization. They will keep fighter pay low and most importantly they will never allow a fighter to become bigger than the UFC. They have taken the Vince McMahon WWE playbook to combat sports. For this reason boxing will be bigger for the foreseeable future because in boxing the fighters have way more leverage.
