Some people suggesting he didn't really train, he was no different to how he was in Wilder 3. Same shape, same style, same falling in on shots and coming in square.
Ngannou was just stronger, stood his ground and countered instead of backing off.
Wilder fell apart from the pressure, can't counter or fight on the inside.
This is similar to when Tyson lost to John McDemott. John took the centre of the ring and Tyson didn't have an answer.
It's the same Tyson we've seen for years. If his size doesn't work, he has trouble.
There was no grappling there, Mayweather doesn't fight that way. Fury is a boxer who needs to grab on to his opponents, lean his full weight onto them and push them back and around while assaulting them. This is how he wears them out. Obviously it backfired against a fighter who can actually grapple.
You still really gotta work on that grammar too, I still have issues trying to understand you.
There definitively was grappling mate, and Floyd Mayweather Junior pushed Mcgregor about.
Fury's brute strength is overrated 'Fury has only ever bulled forward vs fighters who he out weighs by 30 to 40 pounds. So I am not actually contesting your opinion on Fury's wrestling ability, I don't rate it very highly myself'.
The notion that Fury is some kind of monster fighter on the inside, is a narrative promoted by his hardcore fans.
Fury typically has always fought other super heavyweights on the back foot. Kiltschko, Chisora II & III, Whyte, Ngannou 'Fury fought all of those fighters on the back foot'.
Steve USS Cunningham, and Deontay Wilder 'Those are the two fights, which have bestow Fury with the stereotype that he has a all-time great ability at bulling forward vs other Heavyweights.
But if you look closer at Fury's resume, and analyse as to when he uses such tactics with great success? Fury has only really had great success bulling forward vs fighters who he has out weighed by 30 to 40 pounds 'Any other time Fury has decided to use those tactics vs another Super Heavyweights or Heavyweights who he does not out weigh by 30 to 40 pounds, those fights have been extremely difficult fights for him i.e Wallin, Chisora I, Mcderrmott I'.
Note: So I am not actually disagreeing with you on Fury's ability to grapple and wrestle with other fighters who are renowned for their brute strength 'Fury's ability in this area is a tad overrated'.
Moving on further past that point, I don't think it is for certain that a mixed martial fighter is just going to be able to out wrestle all boxers in the clinch. As I stated in my first posts 'Floyd Mayweather Junior, came out of retirement and pushed around a Conor Mcgregor at his absolute peak inside of the ring. Mcgregor was also out weighing Mayweather most likely by 20 + pounds on fight night' etc.

Your wisdom seems to be accurate when you know the outcome. Fat people like Fury Carry the same look wether their in shape or not. Theirs not much difference. You’ll NEVER see a AJ body on Fury. So………
As I said - he beat enough good fighters that way and you confirm it. I also said that when he fights that way, he is a bit reckless which is weird because he knows how to be patient. And I repeat: I think he is better when fighting technical, but not pressuring.
For the shape he was in his Ngannou fight - ok, it seems we won't agree, but he not only was very fat, he also had lost some muscles, look at his shoulders and arms.
He always looks like that. He was not out of shape.
His come forward style simply got exposed - again, like it has countless times. If he was patient and boxed he would've won easily.
Instead most had him losing.
He's just not very good on the front foot. Wilder is the only 'good' boxer, he has beaten with that style. The rest who troubled him were journeymen, not 'good fighters' like you say.
He is, however, supreme in defence. He simply got it wrong on the night. He wasn't good enough.
He was in perfectly fine shape. The same as v Wilder. He just can't fight moving forward. He got found out. Anything else is an excuse.
You said he's beaten good fighters on the front foot. Who? Wilder is the only one.
Look at his fights.
McDermott, Ngannou - Tyson tried to plough through them, couldn't - they were stronger.
Wallin - he walked onto shots all night.
The knockdowns v Cunningham and Pajkic, he tried to pressure them and got caught square.
Against Wlad, even Whyte he was patient and defensive. Chisora, he just danced around him and destroyed him with a jab.
What others fights are there to discuss.
There was nothing wrong with his shape. We see it time and again. When he thinks he can walk through someone, he falls into trouble.

Fighters at his age, even younger, rarely change. He made some change in his style however, not too big, like a complete change, but he is more aggressive and moving forward for several years now. Yeah, prone to take some punches, but so far his head proved hard, regardless the knockdowns, he didn't lose (a dangerous game to play in some cases). It is just that he is not much of a power puncher, but no one has the full package anyway. Him, moving forward is good enough, he is just reckless sometimes, but won against good opponents that way. I would prefer him fighting as he used to do before moving with Sugar Hill, but... At least I hope he can still do it in his old style if needed.
In a way I get him why he fights as he does now - he is just too big and as I said - it is pretty normal to use your size in a fight.
He was absolutely not in a good shape against Francis, it is not an excuse, he has all the blame and shame on himself because of that. But Francis was static and waited to land the big punch - fair enough if it's not that poor activity is punishable by the rules.

- - U and Jellymon sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G l'l floydy and he crack daddy.
McG landed 111 easy to score punches on l'l floydy whose whole career of note is Vegas retirements.
Older than dirt and twice as dumdum as a rock Byrd had to pull the fight to keep from embarrassing boxing any further.
Then l'l floydy guarantee he fannies he gonna KO youtuber Logan who ended up pounding him from pillar to post. Poor fannies lost their wad that night.
How much U lose?
why do you insist on talking like a complete imbecile…….someth8mg is not right with you honeybee
In Fury's 'second career' his best night has been the second Wilder fight. I don't think Wilder was much but that was a great performance regardless.
Since then I don't think he's either looked great, or needed to look great given the opposition.
He might still be the Fury who battered Wilder in the rematch, but that was 4 years ago now. There's a real chance that his weight, lifestyle, inactivity and low standard of opposition has affected him. It has to have affected him to some extent.
And that's before you consider whether he was really as great as claimed. I mean, Wilder wasn't really proven elite.
I still have a nagging doubt that this fight with Usyk happens. I still doubt this fight happens just like you ……..fury has everything to lose and he knows it
Usyk is by far the most complete fighter fury will have faced up to now and I can see usyk making a complete fool out of him if they do fight in a month or so…..wait and see

Mayweather Junior, never had a issue with out wrestling Mcgregor 'Who most likely out weighed him by 20 + pounds on the fight night. Floyd Mayweather, came out of retirement to beat Mcgregor at is absolute peak'.
Note: Don't be surprised if Joshua is able to push Ngannou away from him easily etc.

I didn't blame him for being big, nor did I suggest others haven't had controversial victories too. Not sure where you got that from.
I simply made a post that hes the same boxer he always was.
When he goes forward, he falls in on shots, very square and clumsy on the front foot. Ngannou and McDemott were both just stronger than him, and he didn't have an answer. Ngannou had one punch because of this - the check hook. That's all he needed.
When Tyson fights on the back foot, he's a nightmare for anyone. Fast hands, large, and spots a punch coming. Ngannou wouldn't touch him. But Tysons fallen in love with his power.
Point is, he hasn't changed. Against Ngannou he fought exactly how he does. He's just not very good going forward. Not everyone is as weak and unskilled as Deontay.

He wasn't the same, he was full of fat and even Bakole said he didn't train properly.
So, Fury lost to McDermott? Ok, Usyk lost to Dubois and got a draw against Briedis. In that sense, Fury won't have a problem to beat him.
Blaming someone because of something one can't choose - size. Well, size is a gift as everything else, but could also be a negative in some aspects, something we can't say about speed and power. If I was 206 cm. I would have used my size as an advantage, only a fool wouldn't. Would you?

Josh won’t let Francis fight on the inside or it’ll end worse than the first Ruiz fight.
I just thought it was hilarious watching a boxer thinking he could outgrapple an MMA fighter. Fury looked like a clown because he couldn't deal with it.
The way boxers grapple is only effective in the sport of boxing. Otherwise it is completely useless against an actual fighter. This fight proved it.

Fury was not in bad condition, but was he at is absolute best that he could be for the fight? No, but Fury definitely was not in bad condition.
If Fury was in bad condition? He would of not been able to get up off the deck 'Then to a certain degree fight his way back into the fight'.
Ngannou won the 10 round fight, Francis Ngannou beat Tyson Fury over 10 rounds on October 28th 2023.
But I have stated recently on these forums. That one of the mistakes which Fury made, was actually making his fight vs Ngannou a 10 round fight.
If Ngannou vs Fury October 28th 2023 fight was a 12 round fight 'I think Fury, would of most likely been able to fight much better than Ngannou in those Championship rounds'.
If Fury would of done that? And still been given the decision 'I don't think there would be so much controversy, and complaining over Ngannou not being given the win'.
I don't think Ngannou's endurance is great, mixed martial arts endurance 'Seems to not translate over into boxing, like you think it would'.
Ngannou should of pressured Fury way more, when he had him hurt 'But he did not'.
Fury's power clearly never really bothered Ngannou, so why would he not just throw caution to the wind? Ngannou looks to have worst endurance then both Fury and Joshua 'Fury and Joshua have comparable endurance levels. Statistically Joshua most of the time in his biggest fights, actually out works Tyson Fury'.
Both Joshua and Fury, are not quite elite level when it comes to boxing endurance 'But within today's era of Heavyweights they are at a satisfactory level. A hallmark trait of this super heavyweight era, is that the overall condition of the fighters is below par compared to past era's'.
Fury typically always fights other Super Heavyweights on the back foot 'Kiltschko, Chisora II & III, Whyte, Ngannou'. Fury 95% of the time will chose to fight another Super Heavyweight on the back foot, that is why? I have never bought into the hype that his brute strength is super elite.
Whenever Fury has decided to fight any decent Super Heavyweight, or solid Heavyweight on the front foot? Fury has ether been decked or busted up real good. Wallin, Chisora I, those are all fights were Fury was pushed over the distance 'Fury's first fight with Chisora, was not a easy fight'.
Joshua physically, is a stronger athlete than Fury 'That is why? This notion that Uysk is suddenly going to be intimidated by Fury's dimensions does not quite make much sense'.
It is not the dimension of Fury which are Uysk's biggest challenges 'It is Fury's inside game, and rough house tactics' etc.
Fury became massively overrated on the strength of beating a can in Wilder.
Yes. beating Chisora and Wilder over and over again doesn`t make you a special fighter.

Yep.
And by facing 0-0 boxer he thought his size would enough vs. the 37 year old.
Fury fights the fat, old, and non -top ten ranked ( by Ring Magazine standards )
If he ever fights Usyk, which I will believe when I see it, this guy will be canned.
