Why won't canelo fight bivol at 168?

Canelo stated in an interview that the fight hasn't happened because 'they made it difficult' 'wanted too much' There is a video of Bivol's promoter saying that they haven't heard from Canelo's people since the fight, no negotiations, no offer, nothing. "How can they say Bivol asked for too much when they haven't even asked what he wants?"

I said then, and I'll say now, no way does Canelo risk rematching Bivol at 168, because then he loses all his belts, and has no excuses left for losing to Bivol, and no leverage to get other fights. it's so weird how fans are all caught up in the negotiations like they are getting paid. i DGAF about what they get paid or who is the A side just make the best fights. when it comes to competition MMA is head and shoulders above boxing, they have the top guys fight each other on a regular and none of this cherry picking BS.
