Arum is 100 yrs old with 1 foot in the grave. it's understandable why top rank is finished.
Ever since PBC came on the scene with Mayweather, boxing in America has been on a steep decline. They are the worst promotion in boxing history and have effectively killed boxing in AMerica.
Showtime and HBO pulled out of boxing.
LMFAO @ PBC
smart business to run the entire industry into the ground with their practice? LMFAO
HBO out
Shotime out
boxing ded
typical short term gain, long term L for these idiots. it's in their genes.
Be realistic , how much have you paid the passed year ?
Yeah , that’s what I thought
HBO has been gone for over 10 years genius , so what does that have to do with PBC ?
Like I said , not a fan of PBC but no need to hate them when they had fugh all to do with HBO going down
Boxing is dead kind of like your fughin brain dead but still here posting about boxing
SMFH
Very strange thread.
HBO execs told us the reason they got out of boxing and it had nothing to do with Haymon.
Showtime still has boxing on. They didn’t pull out.
PBC has put on the 4 biggest PPV’s in history.
They just put on the most anticipated fight in 10 years, Spence v Crawford.
Their primary star, Tank, is outselling everyone on PPV in America, including Canelo.
Their primary HWT, Wilder, is poised for a big fight against AJ.
They have one of their best boxers, JMW Charlo, a unified undisputed champion, fighting the cash cow.
They have Canelo locked in for 3 fights.
If you don’t like Haymon and PBC, ok just say that.
The objective facts show they are keeping American boxing alive, not killing it.
Great post, Dunn.
Not many think of it this way.
The bold: Ain't that amazing!
Just smart business
You Would do it just like I or anyone else
If you got buyers that’s what you want

All I remember was boxers fighting once a year started with PBC. Of course, it started with Mayweather, which felt peculiar back then. But now it became a culture. Boxers started liking it with no complaints. Well, the first guy to complain was Vanes Martirosyan.
That they can actually do such part-time boxing without so much negative consequences. They're even rewarded for it by getting paychecks with commensurate relief to what they lost when they're not fighting. That's why you see Jermall Charlo, for example, not worrying too much despite not fighting regularly.
I don't even remember this kind of thing during the HBO days.
Leave it to company man to spin it
I don’t work for PBC.
The things I posted are facts. Feel free to refute them.
Otherwise, fuck off and get back to your job cleaning Manny’s taint and asshole with your tongue.

well it went from pbc is free boxing because there are too many ppvs in boxing to now all fights will be on ppv. pretty funny how after their competition went away they just raised the prices on the suckers

I think PBC only has two major issues. One is some BS scorecards in favor of black fighters and other is too much idiot fangirls in social media.
If Haymon can fix the judge issue and kick a few fighters' a$$ like Tankroid who has social media viruses, I don't see any problem with them.
They're working with Canelo and Showtime at the same time.
Canelo most be charcoal black
I’m far from a PBC fan but the hate is undeniable
Mind you I always said that Haymon is a cancer for boxing

I wouldn’t say they killed it, but they definitely put a few nails in the coffin.
Boxing suffers from many ailments. Too many belts, too many weight classes, no same day weigh-ins or mandatory rehydration clauses, champions permitted to cherry pick their challengers, champions being allowed to hold titles hostage, PPV matches with garbage undercards, mismatches, to name a few.
Nah, American boxing is looking great, finally.
The newer generation is much braver than the last one.
Teo, Shakur, Devin, Bam, Brandon, Keyshawn, Frank, Cool Boy, etc. . .are putting in a lot of work & have better resumes than a lot of much older fighters.
The end of the Mayweather "let fights marinate" era is here. :boxing:\
Really only Tank is still around with that mentality under 30.
