i dont really follow this ggg ward saga (if u can call it that) but the email says ggg is focused on unifying the MW division, how is that a duck if a guy who wants a fight is not even in that division? That was before he even got the Canelo fight & was desperate for a big fight iirc. I don't think Team GGG realized or didn't think through how it'd be a bad move to say this & not act on it if someone like Dre called them on it. That said it woulda been a massively stupid move for him to go up to fight Dre at 168 for short money while being the #1 guy at 154 to fight the cash cow of boxing for huge money. IDK but Golovkin arguably beat a prime Canelo TWICE (despite being nearly a decade older) which tells you everything about his quality. A phenomenal fighter and definitely one of the BEST of his era (just like Ward, Floyd + Pacquiao) who would give Hagler a very tough night.

Actually GGG avoided Charlo. Turned him down twice, once in 2019 and again in 2021, and Tom Loeffler publicly said in 2019 that GGG would never fight Charlo or Andrade :lol1: I want what your smoking.
