Why Didn't Bivol Fight Once This Year? The Fuk?

He needs to get active. Talented fighter but just wasting away his career which is not good for him or the sport of boxing.

Arum has stated on more than 1 occasion, he doesnt want Beterbiev to fight Bivol. Bivol has always wanted to fight Beterbiev. its not just arum. the wbc won't sanction a fight between bivol and beterbiev at all!

I believe it is a combination of factors. The Canelo negotiations held up part of the year. Another factor is that he is high risk and not so much high reward. He holds a major title and at 175 there are not many people seriously lining up for that title shot.

I wouldn't mind seeing Bivol make a fight with Badou Jack at CW while he's waiting on Canelo and Beterbiev. It's a good fight for a title in another weight class. Bivol doesn't need a catch weight against Jack. Are you joking?

He owes Hearn one more fight and my best guess is that Hearn is delaying as long as possible as Bivol is not going to re-sign. Exactly this. He’s being shelved.
