I always do my best to be objective, but I don't have the bandwidth to comment on everything. What I've noticed is that being objective is a loner approach. There's no fan base that's just going to have your back, which is fine by me, but the posts end up flying under the radar and many people think I may be criticizing only the crowd they like. Not a criticism of you. Sorry about that. Very true.

Thats blind hatred, when rooted in lies and false narratives, has to be checked. Whenever its checked, the default line is “youre a fanboy” or “ PBC cultists”. What I find curious is the irrational hatred or false narrative is almost never questioned by “objective” fans, but the response from a poster like me is almost always met with a derogatory comment. I’m waiting for the point where the “objective” fans that call out those responses police the hatred and false narratives as quickly as they do the responses. If we could move away from false narratives and just have a discussion rooted in facts, that would alleviate much of that. It's a toxic back and forth. Why are you thanking a boxing manager/promoter for making fights? Is he letting you watch them for free, or what? Probably because uncle Al is doing it for charity. Not really his job to make fights happen. People in America always say to any military man, "Thank you for serving our country doe." You'd think they're doing it for free.

His last two fights were against 40yr old GGG and Ryder. Do you consider those good fights? Canelo got paid millions by DAZN just to fight tune-ups. Eddie Hearn did not pick those opponents for Canelo. He fought GGG again because that was the fight DAZN wanted. Ryder was a mandatory defence.

Yeah, I find both sides of the coin toxic here. If we could move away from false narratives and just have a discussion rooted in facts, that would alleviate much of that.
