Better luck next year "Monster"
Come get that Tank work then we can reassess the P4P talks.

I think its very strange the way people talk about the lower weight classes and diminish achievements below 126 but then accept 135-147 as if these aren't also very small fighters. Is it because it is predominantly american/Mexican fighters that win titles here?
Is it because 126 and below tends to be dominated by predominantly Asian fighters?
It's similar to how the heavyweight division doesn't matter when there are no good American heavyweights, or how no one paid attention to cruiserweight the other year despite it being the most stacked division at the time.
depending on my mood i can make an arguement for Crawford, inoue and even uysk being p4p no 1, but to pick Crawford over inoue purely based on size makes zero sense. Crawford has moved up 12 lbs in his career, fighters like usyk started at 199lbs and he fought chisora who weighed 255 and Joshua who was 245
Pac beating barrera is better than any floyd win yet floyd was still no1 pfp? Pac win titles in 7 divisions yet was no2?
Moral of story is, you can have bud as no1 if fairness isn't important
It should be that way every month. Every top fighter who cares about being the best, should be aiming to have the best win. Boxing would be much more fun if we had constant fights like Inoue-Fulton and Crawford-Spence.
spence’s best career win was porter who he struggled with. in fact crawford has only fought one other title holder (spence) in the last five years. the entire p4p argument is based on the quality of spence. was he really a great p4p top guy or was he over the hill version, overhyped by the media, promotions?
inoue has moved up, unified 6x, champion of 2 wgt classes, and dominated. fulton was considered close to top p4p 10-12 by most experts. fulton was in his peak.
Exactly.
Spence was too overrated For American media
Really His resume Is nothing special, AND ww Is too overhyped too.
sure pal, inoue still number 1, he didn't fight a guy is alive by miracle and got pushed back in a ring when he clearly shouldn't. spence got almost stopped by ugas who can't crack an egg, are we forgeting that?
Alright let's cut the crap. Everybody and their mama said Spence looked spectacular against Ugas. The best he's ever looked in fact. And leading up to the Crawford fight is was dead even odds so cut the damn crap. Just cut it.
Yeah exactly, it’s a harsh reality. One of my favorite fighters growing up was Finito Lopez but I would never dare rank him in the leagues of Chavez, Sweet Pea, Duran, Lewis, or even De La Hoya. As you stated, the accomplishments don’t carry the same weight (no pun) which is a shame because Finito and Inoue are incredible talents.
Ooh wee I just might have to start up fantasy boxing league again after seeing those two names in the same sentence. Great point great point.
The issue is that Ennis is still relatively unproven. Crawford outclassing Ennis isn't as valuable as outclassing Spence, even if Ennis may have greater potential. I think the IBF would have to enforce Crawford to face Ennis. Ennis should just go after Crowley and Stanionis.
That's true. The more proven a fighter is, the less people can find excuses after you beat that fighter. But I do believe that Ennis has more talent than Spence and would put up a better fight against Crawford.
There's not a lot to gain for Crawford to fight Ennis right now. Ennis-Stanionis is an excellent fight. The winner gets a shot at undisputed.
Come on bro, don't make statements that you can't prove. I'm African American and I don't hate on Inoue for beating Fulton. In fact, I knew Naoya would win. A man with 8 KOs in 20 wins isn't going to stand up to a skilled KO artist like Inoue.
He’s good bro and he loves Mexican food
me I like big azz black females
respect on chin checking me bro
respect

Inoue is kinda hated by blacks
he beat the **** outta an igiof fighter
he don’t talk much but he hits hard

You are now just blatantly lying to discredit Crawford and prop up Inoue. Dishonest take there and you know it. There is absolutely no comparison between Fulton and Spence. And I can play that game too, Crawford stops Fulton in 3 all things being equal.
I'm not discrediting bud. Bud would not be able to step up to his 4th division and be faviurite, that's just being honest, whereas Inoue could.
When peoole think your pf P no1, they think you can do anything. Bud can do things but there's a ceiling limit for bud.
No, bud don't stop fulton, Fulton is better than porter. Fulton took monster punches and lots of punishments chin is sturdy as heck
I think both would be favorites one division north.
I just never rated Spence as highly as some people did to automatically make Crawford number one pound for pound after a win over him, as impressive as it was. Spence is not better than Ennis right now, and not sure he ever was.
It’s not just one win, it’s an accumulation of resume and accomplishments. Many already had Bud at #1 this win just solidified it. P4P lists are subjective though anyways.
Both men have a very strong case for that number one pound for pound spot for sure.
P4P lists are indeed very subjective, that's why the thread title is nonsensical.
Thats stupid
the thing is they were champ for first time in lower weights, thats a prove small.weughts are full of talent.
Answer the question, vato pendejo. What weight classes did their best wins take place at?
