There's no fire left. He does sparris sessions against Usyk and loses on points both times. He has absolutely no aggression or will-power left. Joshua
poses zero threat to Fury and Wilder.
I'm far more interested in seeing NGANNOU vs Fury than Joshua.
They believe a bunch of silly shit when it comes to their fighters. Like the whole can he get his killer instinct back. Whatever they get told they're all in on a bunch of dumb shit.
because AJ is a champion of many different causes, he wants people to boycott certain shops, hes making a statement about the state of boxing orgs by throwing usyks belts out of the ring (not his belts tho), coming back from adversity and mental health issues, dealing with pressure, surviving without rematch clauses (not easy), telling people hes addressed his shortcomings (noone believes him tho) & giving stumble bum who wont even promote the fight another payday
I'm also calling bull**** on the narrative that Francis became so dominant in MMA because he has innate boxing ability. At grass roots level, in Africa, boxing is way bigger and more popular than MMA. If Francis had boxing talent, as well as size and power, that would have been noticed, doors would have opened for him, and he would never have gone into MMA.
He didnt stick with it long enough to be noticed, or to develop his ability to that level. I highly doubt there was a bunch of guys in some gym in Cameroon who made him look like a chump in comparison though.
His success in MMA comes from his size, strength, athleticism for his size and punching power. It also helped that hes come up in an era where the overall level of grappling at HW isnt very good.
If Francis had shown the same level of dedication to the sport as those 3 guys, he would maybe have reached the same kind of level as them. But he would never have dominated HW boxing like he dominated UFC.
We are in agreement on that. I dont think he would have been some monster in boxing but I dont see him as a "failed" boxer either.
Joshuas stock has dropped significantly in the UK. Hes back at the 20k capacity 02 arena for this fight for the first time since 2016.
He fought at the 02 his last fight
Brits are cucks by nature. They like AJ because he is the man they want to be.
Similar to the whole Adam22 and Jason Luv thing
Let me guess you want to be Andy Ruiz or Charles Martin?

If you've only trained for a few months and never had any fights you're never gonna know how good or bad you might have been. Him going to MMA was mostly circumstantial. He was a 26 year old homeless illegal immigrant who met some MMA guys who let him train for free. Of course i'm sure he probably also realised that at that stage in his life if he was gonna "make it" in combat it would probably be a better (and quicker) bet trying to get noticed by the UFC, for various reasons. I dont think that really qualifies him as some failed boxer or something though. Also, I mean look at Lucas Browne, he was getting finished by D level guys in MMA, then focused on boxing and managed to make the top 10 at one point. Whyte was a kickboxer who dabbled in MMA then went to boxing too. Jarrell Miller almost bagged that AJ payday and a title shot (if he hadnt been such a dumbass) and he is a guy who lost twice in kickboxing to a 40 year old Cro Cop who had recently been cut from the UFC after getting KO'd three times in a row. Imo Ngannou is far more gifted than any of those guys in terms of athleticism and power.
Ngannou is not a boxer though, and it takes more than athleticism and power to become a decent boxer, let alone a world champion. It takes years of dedication. That's the point I'm making. I'm also calling bullshit on the narrative that Francis became so dominant in MMA because he has innate boxing ability. Browne, Miller and Whyte are all boxers who I would say lack innate boxing talent, but made decent careers for themselves in the ring via physical strength, determination, and years of dedicated training. (plus a little chemical assistance, lol)
If Francis had shown the same level of dedication to the sport as those 3 guys, he would maybe have reached the same kind of level as them. But he would never have dominated HW boxing like he dominated UFC.
Ok, I'll take back "useless" and just say that we wasn't very good. He said himself that his first and biggest ambition was to become a world boxing champion ... but he ended up going into MMA without having any fights in the ring.
Why do you think that was?

Who said anything about his chances against Fury ie literally the no1 HW on the planet?
You are jumping to that from saying Ngannou was "useless" in a boxing ring and went to MMA because of that. Theres quite a bit of distance between those two extremes.

Why do you think that was?
There is no path to victory. The way AJ is fighting and his level of confidence. It's not only meaningless, and it's boring.
The Ngannou fight will not be boring. He is about 3x stronger than Fury, which is a strength discrepancy we've never seen in boxing. Like Tony Bellew said: a freak show.
Both these guys are about 3x stronger than Nganou. Do you think either would be competitive with him in an MMA fight?

You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Bookmakers and boxing promoters love guys like you!
It takes talent plus years of experience and dedication to become a world class boxer.
This is Joe Joyce's manager giving his opinion of Ngannou's chances against Fury after watching some sparring sessions between Francis and Joe.This guy has no horse in the race and no reason to be biased against Ngannou.

This is a BS narrative. He trained boxing for a few months and never had a single boxing match. Hes probably better than a decent percentage of the guys on Furys record. Theres a grand total of two (Yoka and Takam) HWs in his adopted country of France that would beat him, zero in his home country of Cameroon.

There is a reason why nobody who knows anything about boxing is giving Ngannou any more than a lottery ticket holder's chance of winning against Fury .... except for the people who are looking to make money from gullible guys like you.

AJ is the acceptable face of black people in the UK, he has been groomed by his media people to be white-friendly a bit like Floyd Patterson this why old English grandmas kiss him, when he walks into the ring, this is what the media promotes him so much and throws so much money at him, Unlike ali and tyson who refused to be something that they are naturally not, AJ has no such problems playing up to the " white man" whether hs knows it or not, this is the reason why he is liked so much because he is token whiteman even though he has a tattoo of Africa on his arm.
I've been far more entertained by Joshua's career than fury or wilders on the long term.
Even Joshua's loss to Andy ruiz that's why I watch boxing.
Furys win over Wladimir was a horrible night entertainment wise.
Wilder most entertaining fight was him being schooled by ortiz then finding that bail out punch.
Obviously the fury wilder fights were entertaining somewhat but wilder brings so little in skill they're just one sided mismatches with a bit of drama but I'm talking like 1 min of drama after wilder lands something then fury just goes back to dominating.
Joshua's fight against Wladimir was one of the best heavyweight fights I've witnessed live.
Joshua will always be exciting because he's vulnerable and has decent skill and power to back it up.
I'd never write off Joshua even if he had a 3rd fight with Usyk I could still potentially see scenarios of him winning.
I kind of agree until that final sentence. I don't mind seeing AJ-Whyte 2, it's a must win for AJ if he wants to stay in the mix, both have declined and I expect AJ to play it safe and win a boring decision but it's a real fight that hopefully sets up Wilder.
As for Fury-Ngannou, it's not a real fight, pointless, meaningless cash-grab. AJ might be finished but at least he's fighting a real boxer whereas Fury seems like he definitely is done with the sport, he said after the third Wilder fight that he no longer wants to be in dangerous fights like that. After Whyte he said he'll just be doing exhibitions from now on and this is where we are. I'd be more surprised if he actually signs a real fight but we all saw the Usyk bullshit and he very clearly didn't want Zhang when that was a possibility. AJ is on his way out but Fury is done.

I don't see how you conclude Josh hasn't got confidence, just cos he tries not get hit by lucky Haymaker nowadays? Don't all fighters try not get hit and some pot shot to a 50 unbeaten record.
So you think wilder v josh will be boring? What if ngannou fought josh, would that be boring?
Why do people still watch Canelo? He showed no fire against Bivol, never took the fight by the horns when he was obviously losing and had a sparring session against Golovkin, a guy he said he would beat down.
Just like with Canelo, there are many interesting fights for Joshua left. Joshua has a good combination of speed, power, and fundamentals that most of the other heavyweights don't have. A fight with Wilder would be interesting. I give him a good chance against Wilder simply because I question the chin of a guy who got KO'd by Fury who couldn't even drop a washed up Chisora (same guy who got knocked down repeatedly by featherfisted Parker) and couldn't KO bum Pianeta.
Because they can relate to him. He's from the streets man. He about that life. And he's the anti-hero to Fury....who brits know as a dirty gypsy.
