Antwun Echols passed away at 52

What happen to him? 52 is very young to pass away. Rumors have it that he suffered complications from being a diabetic.

R.I.P champ. great fights against Hopkins and Brewer. Hopkins says that he’s the hardest puncher he ever faced. yeah. When the name Echols is mentioned, Hopkins immediately comes to mind and their strange, foul-fest of a fight. Also, his fight agianst Mundine Thinking of Echols makes me think of Andrew Council, who was also a hopkins opponent. 52 is not old at all. He's only 6 years older than me.

I remember meeting him at a bus stop here in davenport five-ish years ago. spoke with me about the B-hop fights a bit and seemed genuinely happy to do so. RIP
