I posted my thoughts on this in a similar thread a while back, but I have Inoue by UD. I feel Fulton will rely heavily on his lateral movement and defense to successfully keep Inoue off of him throughout the fight and avoid getting knocked out, but Fulton probably won't do much offensively to sway the judges in his favor.
A small minority of boxing fans thinking this will end up another Mayweather vs Pacquiao will be off the mark on that one. Inoue's explosive speed and power is quite incredible. And he's exponentially improved since Donaire 1. He almost has no wasted movement.
But you also have to give credit to Fulton's defense as well. Felt like I was watching a different fighter when he was up against Roman compared to his bout against Figueroa. So excited for this fight. Maybe more than Spence vs Crawford. Getting closer and closer.
Great fight, Inoue moving up could be an issue, Fulton is very confident to have chased this fight and then go to Japan, either can win this.
Fulton wanted the pay day because he was never going to make massive money unless he went to 135.
Naoya will lose to the first black guy he fights.
Dude already conceded mentally, "Black guys are strong!" he's going down.
If Inoue had conceded mentally, he wouldn't have pursued the fight. He could have easily tested the waters with a couple of 5-10 ranked guys and hope Fulton moves up. But nah, he demanded Fulton.
Fulton getting beaten up like a common thief on 7/25.
Can't wait for this one
Great fight I think, I'm picking Inoue but I think it'll be very competitive. I don't just see him running through Fulton with any ease.
If he was demolish Fulton, then I think Inoue is unbeatable at 122 and below and the only thing that's gonna beat Inoue if he kept moving up too far in weight or fights until time catches up with him.
