We mentioned Benavidez as being one of the fighters on the 3-fight deal.
He shouldnt just be 'one of them' he should be first on the list, he is by far the one who earned the fight the most. Remember the hearn/canelo narrative for 2 years, that fighters had to earn the fight and not sit around? They are now doing the exact opposite.
Based on his mandatory order, I'd guess Charlo, Morrell, and maybe Andrade if he can get himself into the IBF mandatory slot, or Benavidez. Maybe Spence if PBC manages to rob Crawford and that fight doesn't end in a definitive fashion. Honestly there's quite a few good fights for Canelo.
Some posters here are convinced that Canelo doesn't have to abide by mandatory rules and rotation, so we'll see.
Will also depend on whether Benavidez fights Morrell or Andrade himself, and what IBF decides to do with their mandatory slot.
Doesn't seem like Benevidez is looking for either of those fights.
Nobody fights at their walking weight. Canelo v Jake Paul would be huge also but it would still be a joke of a fight just like Canelo fighting a god damn welterweight. Anyone but Benavidez, I wonder why?

Yes, I agree with you but Charlo, benevidez and Morrell in a three fight series seems an incredibly big task. I'm not convinced canelos management would agree to that schedule.
I agree I think that'd be too much for canelo. I'm thinking charlo a soft touch then benavidez
Errol Spence has said he walks around at 168 lbs.
If Spence beats Crawford then a Canelo fight at the Dallas Cowboys stadium would be huge.

I don't know. Perhaps, you are right. I am just anxious to see how all of this stuff works itself out. We shall see. All I know that these are some real exciting times for boxing fans in the Super middleweight division now with Canelo moving over to the PBC.
Spence weighs 147 pounds. So how could he fight Canelo; A man who weighs 168 pounds? I believe that Charlo, Andrade and perhaps even Morrell or Benavidez are in the queue to fight Canelo Alvarez next; Because they are in the same weight division as him.

Hope you are right. I want to see him fight Benavidez, although I am aware that Benavidez is probably 3rd in line with mandatory obligations. If Morrell and Benavidez follow thru with their agreement to fight this fall/winter, Canelo would certainly petition to have the winner recognized as the mandatory for both WBA and WBC. I do not want to see him fight Spence, although I'm sure PBC does.
IBF is the one that's crazy. Last week before his recent win Berlanga was ranked 3rd in the IBF behind unknown undefeated Cuban William Scull and Vladimir Shishkin, but he dropped to 12 with his win, and Eric Bazinyan jumped up the ranks, along with Diego Pacheco, in both IBF and Ring.I agree. I don't want to see him fight Spence or Charlo either because both men are smaller, undersized and aren't even Super middleweights. In the case of Jermall Charlo; He has been sidelined and out of action for more than two years now.
So how is he going to be prepared for a fight of this magnitude with no tuneups I'll never understand? Lastly, it's a shame that both Benavidez and Morrell has to fight to knock each other off in order to challenge Canelo Alvarez for the 168 crown.
They should just wait until the dust settles and see who gets to fight him first; Since both are his mandatory challengers. If either one of them loses then they would drop down very far in the queue for Canelo's Middleweight title belts.
I would strongly recommend that they both fight tune ups first before fighting each other. It's because I know that neither guy would want to lose their mandatory status by fighting each other.

Never! Spence is not a Super middleweight. He is a welterweight. Therefore, he is too small and undersized for the much heavier Canelo Alvarez. Spence would have to leap at least three weight divisions in order to fight Canelo.
Besides, Spence would probably want a catchweight of a164 lbs anyhow and I just don't see Canelo doing that. I agree that Charlo, Andrade and perhaps even David Benavidez are probably all in the queue for a Canelo fight.

I agree.
Might be Charlo then Spence if he beats Crawford.
And they’ll probably save Benavidez for last.
You could be right. I hope not though. Benavidez is the fight I wanna see most.

Charlo right now is another ryder, two years layoff, mental issues, never fought at 168, fighting against the champ. My money is on ginger. And is not going to be against the three of them, charlo first, which not be a firefight and the winner of Morell jr vs benavidez.

Imo benevidez and Morrell should have to fight each other with the winner getting a canelo fight.
I disagree. Why do those two have to fight each other in order to knock the other off just to fight Canelo? Wouldn't it be better for the sport if Canelo was to challenge and defeat both undefeated fighters?
