I just watched Demetrius and Jermall online. They both agreed to a 10 round 165 lb catch weight fight. D.A. wanted at 168 but Charlo said nope, only way is 165. So they agreed together in front of a live audience online to fight in September!
:boxing:
Hopefully it comes to fruition!
If it does, I got Andrade schooling Jermall!
Thoughts? Comments?
All the sudden now it’s supposed to be Nelo vs Mall at 168!

Any link to watch
If this is true, does CONelo then fight Jack in September and the bs cw he wants and then the winner of Charlo/DA in December?
That’s a damn good question. If he fights Jermall in September, I do t think he’ll be able to fight again in December. I personally don’t think his body rebounds like it did when he was younger. Also playing the yo-yo weight game has got to be messing with his body. I was looking at a fight from a few years ago, then rewatched the Bivol fight, he has made a full body transformation! :boxing:I’m not accusing him of using, but he looks complete different. How much did our bodies change 25-30? Not that damn much!
Charlo is meal of Canelo in September. It's 90%.
Poor Bumdrade hasn't any opponent again.
I just heard the same thing a few mins ago. 3 months from today Hearn says that Nelo and Mall will fight! I’ll be damned!:boxing:
too little, maybe a little too late? There would have been a lot of energy behind this fight a few years ago but these two have slept their way to being semi irrelevant.
Plus, at 165 they aren't really making a statement in any division and it's 10 rounds.
definitely I'll watch but it's gone from a great fight to an okay fight.
I would favor Andrade. Charlo will be coming off a 2+ year layoff. I'm really surprised Charlo would take this fight and not try to leverage harder for a Canelo fight. But Canelo is low-balling potential opponents and pricing himself out of the fights he doesn't want. Meanwhile, none of them want to fight Benavidez.

It is good news, just not great news anymore.
