He just easily beatdown 12-0 a very very tough durable mandatory.
Why are Mexican held to different standards if they don't stop some one they are "done" yet certain fighte can pitty pat all day and be considered "unbelievable".
It's because the fans of Mexican fighters like Saul Alvarez; Don't ever want to see him lose. Therefore, you guys don't want to see him take any risks outside of the ring for fear of him losing.
That's why you are all content, satisfied and enjoy him smashing up these cherrypicked, limited and overmatched Euro bum fighters with no chance of defeating him
.
Damn since when is going up in weight and fighting bivol not a risk ?
shoot even at his height going up to fight Kov was no easy feat
Jacobs, Lara, GGG, going to another PBC to fight plant (and potentially get robbed) aren’t risks?
damn lol
The irony...
You say all this dumb shit, while Canelo is the only active boxer fighting champion after champion and has the most wins over full champions in all avitve boxer CVs.
Let me guess you Rep. Crawford, GGG, or Tank? How does your statement hold up to their opponents and resume...
"That's why you are all content, satisfied and enjoy him smashing up these cherrypicked, limited and overmatched Euro bum fighters with no chance of defeating him."
That is where the standards are different... While Canelo is actually doing something and picking off champion by champion. You have dumbasses like Tank claiming they are the face of boxing after KO-ing Instagram barely a contender crap resume Ryan. And you morons accept it lol.
Canelo's the only one who can fight whoever he wants when he wants, so he has no excuses.
Crawford was literally locked out of an entire division of fights because he was with the wrong promoter.
GGG was ducked by the entire middleweight division until he got old and didn't look as invincible
He just easily beatdown 12-0 a very very tough durable mandatory.

The victim mentality from your ilk never ceases to amaze me.

Because Mexican style is touted as the best. You know ---the seek and destroy. So, people come to expect a top tier Mexican to seek and destroy and when that doesn't happen it falls short of expectation.
Just like Pacquiao is expected to throw punches in bunches and when that doesn't happen he falls short of expectation.
Mayweather is expected to be a ring general with high defense and accurate punches, and that doesn't happen he is deemed to fall short of expectation.
Bro, it is nothing against Mexicans, but more so against the expectations for a certain fighter or style.
Logging into my favorite boxing forum after a great fight should have been exciting and fun, but instead, I'm met with a cold frustration.
People are arguing with one another and nobody seems to be celebrating the beauty of the sport last night.
The Mexicans, who were rooting for the aging champion in his hometown fight, are exchanging words with the Black Americans, who supported the challenger who lost despite going all out, while both are filled with misery.
In the face of such situations, it's only natural to feel helpless, but this just shouldn't be.
We should be grateful and celebrate such displays of courage and skill, instead of bickering without end.
All those watching the fight had the chance to experience something unique, and yet here we are, not enjoying the moment but using it for pointless arguments.
Nothing would make me happier than to see people from different backgrounds and origins interacting with one another show respect and admiration, celebrating the virtues of the sport without prejudice and hatred.
Isn't that why we all love boxing after all?

exactly
The last I checked; Regis Prograis and Gervonta Davis fight in two separate weight divisions. However, Ryan Garcia and Prograis fight in the same weight division of 140 lbs. That's why he said maybe Tank.
Since they don't fight in the same weight class; There is a lot more to negotiate for a potential Gervonta Davis fight like: A catchweight and rehydration clause. After all, you are intelligent sir. So for once, try taking your head out your ass
Now if Tank does decide he wants to compete at a 140 lbs; Then of course "Rougarou" would be more than happy to give him first dibs because he is the bigger draw of the two.
They’re in and around the same weight division. Even if they’re not, why Garcia? Last I checked, he sucked and there are other killers in the 140 division. Why not call them out?
they Mayweather syndrome, all the money, no glory.
Because Teofimo is right when it comes to certain fighters with certain skin tones.
Look at the interview last night with Chris Mannix, Eddie Hearn and Regis Progais, when Mannix asked Regis what's next, his answer was "Ryan Garcia, maybe Tank". The f.uck? "Maybe Tank"? And every one is ok with that? Imagine if a Mexican or Canelo was asked that and said, and gave a similar response, they'd get crucified on social media.
The Gayweather syndrome, certain fighters of certain skin tones cherry pick opponents, protect their records, call out the cash cow and their fans are ok with, not calling that out, it pointing fingers at Mexicans for anything they do.

Poor Canelo. What a victim.
The Canelo fanboys seem to believe and want to make everyone else believe that he is being persecuted because of his race. However, the worse thing about it is that the vast majority of these individuals are not even Mexican or of Mexican descent themselves. Well they all could have fun with that shit because no fighter us above reproach. No matter who they are :lol1:

Damn! Your hatred for black people is extreme! You automatically presume that anyone who so much as dare to criticize Canelo or those who don't even remotely resemble him ethnically are black.
Why do you people make everything about race when it comes to defending Canelo Alvarez? Chances are you probably not even a Mexican yourself. You're more than likely a person of Far East Asian descent or an Anglo of American descent.
yeah this is bullsh^t
what is hilarious is that the same fans who held Floyd Mayweather to unrealistic standards are now crying about Canelo being held to that same standard
when you are the face of boxing it is never ending and the fans and media will ask you to fight any and everybody around your division it has always been like that and always will be, that won't change for your favorite fighter
Tank Davis getting the same pressure too
I see a Star Power that is fading because the opponents are not interesting enough to draw the casual fans interest but also Canelo fans not his Man Groupies, they want to see him vs Benavidez, Charlo...
Also too sorry but fighting on DAZN is hurting Canelo Brand more than it is helping, the fact that Casuals are still asking the day of "Where Is The Canelo Fight?" on DAZN "WTF is DAZN...never mind I will find a stream instead"
Well said and good post!
You're clearly a hater and a moron... Each of those champions earned their belts and Canelo fought them because they were at the top of their division. The Benevidez fight is around the corner. Everyone knows that. Also there is no way Benevidez is a tougher opponent than Bivol, so stfu with your stupid nonsense bs. You know you're a dumbass when you try to make an argument that fighting champions is cherry picking... Gtfoh and stop polluting this forum with comments stemmed from the insecurities you have because the lack of balls the fighters you follow, can't do what Canelo is doing. Honestly, ask yourself, if what Canelo is doing so easy they why hasn't the fighter you follow done it??
Fvk you and fvk those you call champions, you're the moron that doesn't see through the bs, none of those "champs" took the crown from a real champion, saunders won the belt against isufi, defended the belt against coceres and murray before cashing out against canelo, who else was a champion? Oh smith, another one that fought for a vacant belt, George groves was the victim, defended against ndam and ryder, the same ryder that just fought canelo, go figure, yes he cash out against canelo, who is next? I think caleb plant, did he fought a champion, no, he fought for a vacant belt, can you see the pattern here little boy? He fought three nobodies and then what? You guessed it, I think you're paying attention, he Cash out against canelo. None of them were a champion, the first time they fought a real one in canelo, they lost, which bring us back to ginger did he fought champions, or hand picked opponents. Why ryder and not benavidez? Just because you yell and curse, or offend people, doesn't mean you're right. Open your ears not your mouth.

Hahahhahha kid don't confuse a Mexican with the entitled and privileged ie white and black folks.
ya mfers get everything you're way threaten riots smash grabs if ya don't get you're way. Woke blm and white guilt has been out in full force allowing some to do whatever they **** they want lawlessness is what ya like.
Bitxh n moan until we get our way is you're kinds motto.
This is the USA. How can black and white people be entitled in our own country? Mexicans run across the border to a country nobody asked them to come to, have kids and demand people to give them jobs and education and if they don't they play the race pity card. If you want to talk about BLM you mean how in Mexico the Mexican Cartels brutally murder people on a daily basis?
Lol there is no more entitled group of people on this planet than Mexican immigrants. Also if you think America treats you so badly then you can easily go back to your own country.
Did you check the name of those "champions", reggiekray is right, they're eurobums. Why he didn't went after the belts when benavidez was the champion? Why he didn't fought him instead of fighting ryder? He's his mandatory. His career is full of handpicked fighters, beside Mayweather, ggg and Lara, who he has fought that he wasn't the favorite, by a lot? And he lost those three fights.

i was masturbating during this fight, pure masterclass. canelo didn't even get hit one time. i scored most of the rounds 10-8 for canelo. ryder clearly won the 10th and 12th rounds but it was IN MEXICO so i scored those 10-10. my scorecard ended up being 120-98 and if you really think long and hard about that, to earn a decision that wide is much more impressive than a KO.
canelo is the greatest super middleweight of all-time and he has the best resume at that weight of all-time. canelo is a top 3 greatest middleweight of all-time but i believe he knocks out hagler, robinson, and monzon head to head. i'm not sure if anyone in the history of 147-175 can beat a prime canelo head to head. and yes, canelo is top 5 all-time at light heavyweight. you also have to factor in that not one single elite fighter in the history of the sport has had as many brothers as canelo and that also has to count for something. i would say that pound for pound canelo is in the top 5 all-time. canelo should be undefeated with a draw against mayweather but there's an asterisk next to that fight since the catchweight king fraud g@yweather drained canelo and he also had the hometown advantage and corrupt scorecards.
i'm not sure why there is a double standard for canelo. he's a hard-working and humble guy with an unbiased and humble fanbase who have their feet planted directly into the soils of reality. all i can say is that it's probably racism against mexicans. mexicans make up a much larger percentage of america than blacks which means they face more racism.
