He won for sure but his @ss got tagged like a MOFO!
I had Bivol winning the rematch but now, shiiiiiiiit, its gonna be a fcukin wash! CONelo might as well fight Benavidez as he has a better chance. Bivol gonna more than DOMINATE Saul this time, he might even push for the stoppage if hes smart....damn i hope the fight happens at 168
Reciting a shltty resume like GGG's has triggered yet another hater
Who doesn't know he has a shifty resume? We were discussing hypothetical fight against ryder and you made personal. I have nothing else to discuss with you.
How old are you? Did I say something that offended you? One thing for sure, you're a piece of $h1t and would have lose your tongue if you call me Mfer in person. It's a waste of time having a conversation with you.

GGG spent his prime years fighting BUM AFTER BUM AFTER BUM AFTER BUM......
like Ouma, Ishida, Proska, Rosado, Fuchigami, Simon, Adama, Stevens....
And a MFer has the nerve to mention Fielding :lol1: ?!?!?
Fielding destroys EVERYONE PRIME GGG fought.
Everyone !
Yet GGG was called the best MW since Hagler :lol1:
And then your hero thinks he's a badass by beating Kamil, Rolls, Vanes, LeMeh and Murata :lol1:
Cotto right now could have beaten those BUMS !
You haters crack me up :lol1:

Common Body, ryder is a good guy, hopefully he made a life changing money in this one, but he is a gate keeper, that's all, a lot of heart and courage. But not a world level talent. It have nothing to do with moving up or down, I'm talking about talent. It's disgusting that the alphabet soups can manipulate the rankings, and present us with this type of fights. I heard that suliman change a score card, from a slip to a knockdown, corruption.
Ryder > Murata, Kamil, Rolls, Vanes, LeMeh, Shortychenko.......
Unsure what everyone is so surprised about, Canelo has fought the same way and has had the same flaws his whole career. Props to Ryder for being able to take a punch.
He didn't fought anyone at 160, he waited out ggg, fought past his prime cotto, fielding, he didn't stay long at the division, and he was killing himself to make 155.

You're right
GGG would never have moved up and fought him.
Not unless there was a bunch of money in it for him.

I like him best at MW.
He's functional at 168

oh ya ATG nick blackwell ! would definitely KO prime GGG ...wtf lol
Shortychenko was an ATG too I suppose
GGG will only move up if the price was right.
Which is his best division? 155 when he was 21yo. I may remind you that he will come in over 166 the night of the fight. So please tell us his best weight, and who did he fought in that prime division?
I like him best at MW.

No, ryder would've never wipe out ggg, not now not ever.
You're right
GGG would never have moved up and fought him.

what has he done? crawford, usyk (road warrior), taylor, charlo are all undisputed. He fought some names with a **** load of rigged cards.
HW's are off the hook because it is EXTREMELY rare they venture elsewhere for a challenge when the div is dead. And the HW div hasn't been as dead as it is now.
Dud hasn't had a meaningful win in YEARS
Etc, etc
Your reasoning has the foul stench of a hater.
He has fought this way his last bunch of fights, walking forward looking for a KO, he just looks to me like he has lost a step and that's no big deal he has close 60 fights and starting to show the age and wear and tear, he looks softer older a little slower and his power is not having the same effect it was, he is still a great fighter, him and Benavidez would be fire as long as it lasted. I see this as Canelo has faded a little and Ryder was going to go out on his shield not matter what, makes for a tough night.
People that try to make out Ryder was a bum don't understand how a supposed bum can perform outside of himself when given the chance of a lifetime, history tells us many so-called bums have given ATGs lots of trouble in many fights. There is not this massive gap between fighters, its a split second in time with a hair tolerance, being a little of that is the difference from being the KO winner to being the KO loser, think about how that translates to a fighter in the fight of his life, and a Great on the slide., and once again we just seen how that goes.
I agree, He has changed his style up, but I think a lot of people just see the surface change and have a surface explanation. Where if you follow the sport a little closer, you understand there are different styles and strategies. There are different ways to fight between southpaw and orthodox opponents. There are ways you learn to be more effective and efficient with your punches. Also, Offensive and defensive approaches are altered based on various attributes of your opponent or lack of, OR based off your own skill and durabilaty and what you are will to trade off in your game plan.
Power is relative to weight class of course he'll lose power effectiveness as he moves up in weight. This is natural. All the fighters in higher weight classes are accustomed to getting hit harder.
Sure Canelo has been in many fights/wars and it shows, but to look at this fight and think that his performance and strategy was only a factor of that reason is very short sighted. There are a lot intricate reason why he fought the fight he fought.
Also, good point about the KO stuff. I think anyone for the most part can get KO-ed if they get to careless and it just takes a split second. We see a lot of this MMA haha. Another recent memory of this happening is with Rasado vs Melikuziev.
Canelo won 12-0, bloodied, and dropped Ryder yet you ladies are overreacting.
He was expected to beat Ryder EASILY. He won but looked like shi.t Bivol bout to make yall cry and scream at the tv again
So he plans to fool himself for the next year that he is a top guy at 168. he will lose to Bivol at 175 again, but he remains 168 king until may 2024. Smart.
That's why folks need to stop relying on just one face of boxing. This sport needs a lot of faces.
Let's start by pressuring others to step up and fight meaningful fights.
