Say Inoue beats Butler in Dec. Who would he have to face in order to eclipse the Jabbing Machine, Fighting Harada on the ATG list?
Has he already done it?
And who wins H2H at Bantamweight?
Do you think Mad Max was better than Stone? Or Wake in Fright?
I couldn't say, I was into Max because of the location being my backyard it was a weird feeling driving those roads you saw in the film.
Oh yeah Mad Max was epic, it was filmed around an area called the You Yangs I lived just down the road and would shoot foxes on the same roads the movie was made on.
Talking about Harada there was a Mexican fighter back then that I feel was better than all those guys he took the title from Lionel Rose, his name was Ruben Olivares he was a beast and only lost to the top guys had an unreal KO record.
Here is an old Doco on Ruben.

The one who faced Chacon? I remember watching those series of fights a few months back...
thats awesome.....glad to hear you got to experience the golden era, pretty jealous.
Did you see Max Max 1 in theaters too?

I think beating the Gonzalez-Estrada winner (or quite frankly either of them) would for sure. Or else beating both Fulton and MJ.
I agree, I honestly would stay at bantamweight and get the Super-Fly king, instead of going north again and risking a fight with big boys. I would only do it, if I needed that cherry on top.
Does a win over Fulton or MJ put him over? Or does he need both?
What about a win over the winner of Gonzalez-Estrada 3 at Bantam?

They were great times in Aussie boxing, we had TV ringside and 2 world champs and there were fight nights nearly every week in Melb and Sydney, Festival Hall in Melb was a great fight venue where many of our best went to war, it wasn't that big only 5k capacity but a famous venue its where the Beatles played.
Im 70 I was about 14/15 when Harada fought here my dad was a mad boxing fan he took me to lots of shows getting me hooked on boxing.

I saw Harada lose to Famechon in Sydney I was young but still remember it, Lionel Rose also beat him, I saw Lionel Rose and Famo in a number of fights before they won titles, to be honest I think Inoue is better, although as I said I was very young when I seen Harada, from memory Famo beat him easy.
Lionel ended up a drunk often seen staggering around small shows and Famo was hit by a car suffering major issues, they were 2 Aussie icons that both beat Harada.

He probably needs to move up some more in weight and beat some more young hungry boxers. But he’s almost there
