I’ve followed this sport for 3 decades. You don’t love the sport? Why you on a boxing forum then? Lonely? Bored?
Kid, you’re blatantly just trolling cause you lost the discussion, it’s so obvious. Is mom jokes the best you got? :lol1:
My dad actually only gets hit with 7.37864% of punches, incredible technician.
How does that relate to me being emotionally invested in this subject?
I love the sport and enjoy talking about it. You’re the guy quoting about 10 different people in this thread bringing up irrelevant punch stats. You’re clearly the one emotionally invested in this topic.

Bivol gets hit way less but Usyk has fought the much better competition. However I can't recall Bivol having any true close decisions, not counting corrupt UK cards like Craig Richards just like I wouldn't consider Usyk Joshua 2 actually close.
there's nobody on Usyk's list that comes close to p4p king Canelo. Nobody comes close. who was P4P when Usyk beat them?
I don't even know if anyone on Usyk's list is as good as Zurdo
Emotional? Says the guy with like 10 posts in this thread. :lol1:
Keep using your punch stats you fool. Andrade probably has great numbers too right?

Agreed 100%.
I was surprised that most people said Bivol in here.
To me it's Usyk by far.
Same here. A lot of people don’t know what they’re talking about tbh. Maybe Bivol is fresher in the mind with him having fought yesterday, that’s probably a mitigating factor.
I don`t know what are you guys watching. Usyk arguably didn`t beat Breidis. And Bivol never get tattood on his face like Usyk.
Usyk is getting hit much more.
you really comparing level of opposition Usyk and Bivol fought? Especially Usyk run at cruisers.
Zurdo with his padded record is arguably best win for Bivol
Bivol is 10x better than Usyk. Usyk's competition skill level is funny asf. Bivol would murder Joshua in a few rounds at the similar size.
I wouldn't say better, Bivol is more orthodox taught whereas Usyk is unorthodox, for that reason Bivol is easier to beat, when guys have odd styles that alone makes them hard to unravel, a guy like Bhop would figure Bivol out where Usyk is always changing it up.

correct. Usyk was beaten from pillar to post. That fight was a draw
Those % stats mean nothing. It’s relative to opposition and several other factors. It’s the type of thing idiots cite who don’t know what they’re watching. Same clowns who bring up compubox when scoring fights. Irrelevant nonsense. Nerds pressing buttons every time they think a punch was landed, who’ve probably never thrown a punch in their life.
He beat Chisora comfortably. This whole Usyk struggled with Chisora narrative is also nonsense.
How do you think Bivol would fare boxing guys weighing in at nearly 40 lbs heavier? It takes a lot of skill to be able to overcome significant physical disadvantages.
Both are great fighters but Usyk is the more skilled.

Usyk by far.
zurdo is a good win though, i don't think his padded records makes him top fighter but none the less, it was easy fight to predict if you ever watched both of these fighters before.
i dont rate canelo win too much, it is will stay a good one only on paper.
Bivol fought a cruiser in Ramirez. he only landed at 12%.
Zurdo is p4p better than Chisora.
Except he's not though, is he?
He's actually a former Super Middleweight. He's only had 5 fights at Light Heavyweight, now 6.
Usyk is a better fighter, and has better wins 'And currently right now has been taking on bigger challengers'.
Bivol has no win that rivals, Usyk's two wins over Anthony Joshua.
Anthony Joshua is a Super Heavyweight, who skill for skill is a good boxer from Mid to Long range etc.
I am not even sure what being technically sound entails? Usyk is a Olympic Champion, so you can also say that his technical abilities have been more tested and proven 'In the Amateur game which relies on this area of boxing more than the Professional side of the sport'.
Usyk by a mile. That’s no disrespect to Bivol who’s a great fighter in his own right but Usyk has far more dimensions. Usyk has every punch in the book and uses all sorts of angles, Bivol largely just throws straight shots.
If I was to show tape to a kid learning to box, I’d show them Bivol cause it’s a much more teachable style. Bivol does everything right. Keeps his hands high, is always in the middle of his stance, always balanced when throwing his punches, always on the balls of his feet and so on. He does the basics exceptionally well.
Usyk however has a style that requires a higher level of skill. The way Usyk positions his feet, moves around the target, uses unusual angles is very tough to learn. Usyk has truly mastered it with years of coaching. It’s also a style you need certain athletic attributes to be able to utilise successfully.
Both tremendous fighters but Usyk is definitely the more skilled of the two.
Agreed 100%.

I'm not though. Andy Ruiz was Joshua's worst night and he won the rematch, and Ruiz, also, is miles better than Hart. Zurdo's resume is shocking and he has not even proved himself to be a good fighter, never mind a great one, and after last night's completely unambitious and boring performance from him, as far as I'm concerned, he can have a rubber match with the practically unknown, Hart, and retire. Nobody would even notice his absence from boxing if he did. Typical case of overrating every other division and underrating HW.
Zurdo has beaten nobody near Joseph Parker's level. Cash in
Punch stats doe… :lol1:
yet he gets hit more than bivol and lands a lower % of shots than Bivol.
Chisora was teeing off on Usyk lol
