Wilder fought huge guys in Fury, Breazeale and Helenius. KO'd two of them and KD' Fury four times. Wilder ain't even super heavyweight. He is barely bigger than Usyk. This what great resume is. Size matters in boxing. You guys too overrate "known names" in resumes. If this is his new weight he's even smaller and BMI wise much smaller. He's probably the skinniest top 10 to champion since the 60's or 70's if you include Leon Spinks.

I was watching that Helenius fight and Deontay was super skinny, looked like a basketball player, what was he like 212 pounds and 6'7? Helenius was 260 on fight night and got dropped by a death touch and in slow mo Deonty didnt even get full extension it looked like he just tapped the guy and he dropped with his eyes rolled and stiff on the canvas. This man has some crazy mystical punching power, I never seen something like this its like he got that Thanos fist or something. He has power, but? I think there are other great offensive and big punchers who would of obliterated Tyson Fury in their third fight. Fury in that specific fight was there for the taking 'Was all over the place technically'. If only Wilder could of varied his attacks more, and had more range with his power? He would of decked Fury even more. If only he could of come straight down the middle at times, this variation would of banged up Fury even more. For sure with his best punch, Deontay Wilder's power is up there. But his overall offense has a limited range. He does not have the range of Mike Tyson. Tyson Fury identified this, and realized if you close the distance, and force Wilder to punch from close range 'His effectiveness with his power decreases'. Now he still hits hard at these ranges, but for a fighter like Fury? That decrease in effectiveness was enough for him to get his own work off and start to bang up Wilder. From mid-long range, Wilder is dangerous mainly is back hand and hooks to a certain degree.
