I agree
I’m not interested in watching that fight, at least not now with AJ coming off back to back losses
I want the Usyk fight
Ha ha wilder don't deserve usyk fight coming off 3 losses to fury. Best ruiz first at least, or joyce
AJ would've sparked Helenius out as well, then what would you have said? Helenius is bum right? Mainly because he is (a fair comeback fight, but was never supposed to be tough)
We will never know until they fight but the only B+ boxers Wilder has ever fought imo is Fury who beat him convincingly 3 times and Ortiz who Wilder couldn't land on until the old man's heart combusted.
I wouldn't rate anyone else he fought above C. So it's hard to say if Wilder is good enough to land on anyone half decent.
Would love to see though.
Wilder Joshua is absolutely no guaranteed win for either of them. The guy that performs better on that night wins. It is a very competitive fight but one that ends in KO, not going the distance. I don't think if they have a trilogy, one guy will be winning all of them.
Joshua has good fundamentals and can hit hard. If he lands a few of them without getting hammered, which he can, he wins. Wilder probably needs just a single clean shot to floor Joshua which he too can. That is why I say it can go either way.
Nope it def would not be a waste of time.. it would be a massive fight AND i dislike both of them (particularly Wilder) so it would get good to see one of them get starched again
I don't know about that fight being a waste of time. People underestimate Joshua largely because he lost to Ruiz and the only reason they hold that view is because Ruiz is fat. Andy is a skilled fighter with fast, strong hands & a good chin. Say what you want about Joshua's strategy in the rematch, but he did what he had to do to win. As for the losses to Usyk, Oleksandr is one of the best fighters in the business. And of course Fury, who is at the top of the food chain, is the only fighter to defeat Wilder. Joshua vs Wilder is still a great fight; just let Anthony have a confidence-building fight like Deontay had.
No, not a waste at all. Joshua isn’t the boxer Fury is but that straight right hand is among the best.
At this point I’m favoring Wilder but not by a lot. I doubt Wilder’s chin is as stout at Andy’s and Wilder is nowhere near as illusive as Usyk.
Its still one of the biggest fights in boxing (granted probably not half as big as it could have been in like 2018) so I wouldnt say its a waste of time. I dont think its necessarily an easy win for Wilder either. Is Joshua worse than old man Ortiz who Wilder went life and death with?
Easy win? Yes.
Waste of time? No.
It would be worth it to see the meltdowns on this site regardless of who won. I expect Wilder would KO Joshua inside 5 rounds, and that would be hilarious. But it would be equally hilarious the other way.
