some people claim the first fight Knockdown was a "long count" and the 3rd fight 4th round knockdowns were "long counts"
Fury no doubt won and proved he was the better fighter 2 wins, 1 draw...but can we say Wilder has possibly, two potential wins against Fury?
In that first fight, the 9th round kd was an illegal punch to the back of fury's head, but boxing is rife with corruption and no one cares.
same reason why fury got to push whyte and it wasnt even acknowledged. a proper ref there would have ruled that a push and warned fury, let whyte recover and let it continue. yes fury had the W in the bag by then but still....illegal moves are illegal.
Wilder was losing to ortiz, illegal moves, a dodgy ref etc saved him.
With a,different ref he might have won the first fight, I've seen refs stop fights without counting but the ref did a great job.
2nd fight would have been a bad stoppage, again the ref did great. Wilder was lucky to get a draw in the first fight but he had 2 more chances and got brutalized for his troubles.
he wasn't knocked down in the 2nd
you mean the 3rd fight 4th round were Fury got knocked down twice

ok ok.....Fury won. I said he proved he is the better fighter in the trilogy... but do you still agree that they fight could of been stopped after those two knockdowns in the 4th in the 3rd fight?
I've seen worse stoppages but that would have been among the worst. Fury was clear eyed and steady on his feet

I have 37 wins against Fury too. Great thread OP.
My Lord, wtf is going on here?
Coulda, woulda, shoulda.
Wilder got knocked out twice. That's what happened. Wilder fans need to accept it.
And the first fight was a draw. That's what happened. Fury fans need to accept it.
