What's with him saying how he always wants to create 'legacy' - and it ain't about the money...
Yet he isn't fighting anyone worthy of his caliber... boxing politics.
I don't really follow what Tank says. If he said that he's talking out of his @ss because his actions don't reflect that.
Oh yeah. That's right. You're very right man. And that's kind of a wider problem with boxing right now, which is that most of these boxers are being overpaid. I think they should get as much as they can, but how much is enough? Yeah. That five million was a duck, in my point of view. Sometimes I have a feeling that Tanks split is something obscene, to the point where it's offensive to the opponent. I don't like how Mayweather is moving Tank, so I guess it will be up to Tank to really push for the fights. I think he's getting a lot of pushback from the Devin Haney crowd. Haney's fans are something else. I don't think he has as many as Tank, but they seem to be louder for some reason.
That’s why I always support the fighters I like. I order the PPV’s, even though I don’t want to sometimes, and can probably watch them for free. That’s the only way we are going to get the fights we want to see.
Floyd does love haney, but he loves money more.
easy fix .
1. Stage the fight in las vegas and pay tank 7 mill, and haney 5 mill.
up the price of the ppv 99$ and have a legit 2 prospects fight to become contendors in any division .
people will buy it .
2. Stage the fight in saudi Arabia and get the saudis to pay up . They love throwing money around.
you can tank 10 mill there and haney 6 mill and floyd can pocket a huge amount in a deal with the saudis for himself
do it
Doesn’t matter where the fight is Haney’s not worth 5 million. And they’ll never stay in business overpaying guys like that.
Wilder and Fury were both more popular than Tank and Haney. And TR and PBC still lost money on both of those fights. After the Barrios fight when Floyd was saying you fighters have to take less money he was talking about Haney specifically. And Floyd loves Haney. He grew up in his gym and he’s known him his whole life.
The man asked for 5 million to fight Loma. Is that realistic? He was with Hearn then and times were different but what’s he going to take. He took the Kambosos fight on the cheap for something like little over a million if I remember correctly (but I could be wrong). If he’s willing to take that again I think they would make the fight tomorrow.

Tank is just a prize fighter. He doesn't care about belts anymore. He only wants publicity and showcase fights. He's a hell of a fighter though, but that's the approach him and his team have chosen.

Or maybe work in some cross-promotional deal? Kind of like when the PBC worked with Top Rank for Tyson Fury and Wilder. I get the money thing. But if Tank fights a name opponent on PVP, the money will be there. Tank vs Loma is almost on the level of Crawford vs Spence. The money will be there.

You want to see Tank in bigger fights then either he or his opponents have to take less money. Because Floyd has made it clear he’s not willing to lose money by overpaying these dudes.

My opinion is Tank has no issue fighting anyone. The problem is Mayweather. The way I see it is like a bad relationship where Tank has been brainwashed by the more dominant personality (Floyd), filled with a bunch of BS and is the submissive.

Oh, he does, all he has to say is he wants to fight Garcia. Will it happen? Yes if he pushes it but he doesn’t like to rock the boat.
The problem with approaching the game as Tanks people do is that they STIFLE Tanks abilities to IMPROVE. Spoon feed him and eventually he forgets how to use his hands to feed himself. Look at the Charlos’. One of them got married (big mistake) and now he’s broke and he will not have the ability to take on a YOUNG, HUNGY lion or beat a truly talented fighter. He’s fooked cause no one wants to fight him cause he never gave anyone of value a chance. What comes around goes around.

How did Haney not have to contractually fight Kambosos? It was reported that he literally had to rematch Kambosos if he stayed at 135. The only way he could avoid that fight is by breaking contract or being unable to make the weight division anymore.
This is what's annoying about Haney is that he tries to flip facts to put himself in a better light, even if it means outright lying. This is why his opponents lately are so annoyed with him. He goes on Twitter and spouts a bunch of crap to get his fans riled up and make it seem as if the other guy is the one being a douchebag, when in reality it's Haney.

After Fury put the beatdown on Wilder, I don't see any PBC "A" fighter doing a dangerous co-promotion fight unless Haymon is selling them as in Charlo and Benvadiez to Canelo
