Well I can't see it happening in November now they will probably want to do a press tour etc I'm betting Spence fights Thurman and Crawford some PBC scrub they will do that marinating too much bs again "talks broke down we will try again in 2023 when the fight will be even bigger!"
That said if it happens be the first time since Floyd we find out who is the king at WW I imagine it cracks 600k buys
It was of great importance but every day that goes by that it doesn't happen, it becomes less and less so.
Fck those guys. Bring on the next generation
Don't know how big it is, but you could at least get a feel or picture when the fight is announced and the fighters started promoting the fight. Right now, who knows?
500k seems fair in the current diluted market
this matchup could have done with constant trash talking to hype it up, as both aren’t interesting personalities
The challenge is these guys want to get paid like it will do a million buys but this fight would struggle to do 750k or better without spending a ton on marketing the fight.
If it’s November there’s not much time to get the casuals excited as football takes up so much sports space once September starts.
Crawford’s last fight was supposedly his best opponent and it did 130k buys and Arum said he lost money on the fight because it wasn’t an in house event.
I say around 800k buys or more. Casuals are talking about this fight so that is a good indication. The matchup always sells plus those are two undefeated seasoned champs that are on top of their game.
Not good. Fight has been drawn out to such a degree that both fighters careers have stalled and no one really knew who they were anyway. Imagine the promotion for this fight lol neither guy can really talk. No charisma.
Spence is charismatic
There are some who are saying this fight does 500 to 1 million pov buys. And there are others who are predicting 400k tops

500k max but don't be surprised if it does even less. Casuals don't know these guys and they're boring as fuck outside the ring and without a builtin fanbase, that won't translate to buys. There was a one hour Bud interview and I couldn't watch more than 5 minutes because it was so boring. The fight itself I think will be fireworks.
I think it does pretty well (500k +) with a good amount of promotion/marketing but It’ll be tough to hit the desired million mark the investors probably want. Neither guy has much of a personality and no good guy/bad guy angle here. No larger than life personality (Mayweather, Mcgregor, Fury, ect). Luckily both guys have very fan friendly styles of fighting and are highly decorated fighters. Not sure how much that translates into PPV sales and profitable interest.
