Anyone noticed it? He lost significant speed. Was it the inactivity or the added weight? Logic says it's the added weight.
I think he should go back to his original weight where he's has so much speed advantage for the heavyweight. If he goes for more weight, he could ran on one of those heavy heavy heavyweight punches that might have him reeling in. He had a good chin though, but being more elusive far suited him.
Its because of his increased volume. He was throwing shots constantly and completely overwhelming Joshua. I don't see how you throw that many punches and be quick and weigh 220lbs.
Probably not 10 or 15 lbs heavier.
it's something like:
Usyk first fight 215 lbs.
Usyk second fight 221+ lbs.
He has added weight in this second fight.
Bro 215 was Usyk's first weight entry in heavyweight against Witherspoon, against Joshua in the first fight, he was 221 1/4 lbs, then in second fight he was 221 1/2 lbs. So technically you're correct that he was heavier in the first fight, but not by much.
Added weight? Bro you don't know what you're talking about. Usyk was only 0.25 lbs heavier compared to the last AJ fight (221.25 vs 221.5 now).
My advice? Stop posting here if you can't research simple facts like Usyk's weight or if you don't know what you're talking about.
Usyk had added weight. I'm not comparing him to AJ's weight. READ don't be an idiot.
He is the same weight as the first fight. All the pre fight hype claimed he would be 10 or 15 lbs heavier.
Probably not 10 or 15 lbs heavier.
