I spent probably 30 minutes trying to figure this out...
If you read early articles, they will tell you can watch on DAZN. But then a site with a seemingly relevant domain name --
https://furyjoshua.com/news/usyk-vs-joshua-2-date-time-tv-live-stream-odds/
-- tells us: "Joshua recently signed an exclusive global deal with DAZN. Right? Wrong. He did sign the exclusive global deal, but it transpires that it does not kick until AFTER the rematch with Usyk. Instead, the rights for this one were available to the highest bidder and AJ’s former dance partner Sky Sports won the bidding vs DAZN with a massive offer."
I subsequently found this article:
https://www.skysports.com/boxing/news/12183/12659980/usyk-vs-joshua-2-timing-pricing-booking-details-for-world-heavyweight-title-rematch-on-sky-sports-box-office
In the list of "Booking Information" at the bottom of the page, it would seem Sky Sports Box Office is my best bet:
https://sports.skyboxoffice.com/events
But it's clearly stated at the bottom of the site -- "UK and ROI only."
Am I really going to miss out on one of the biggest fights of the year, in a sport that is pathetically short on such fights, just because I reside in the beautiful and free state of Indiana?
You just told one of the leading posters that’s infatuated with the app who posts articles how bad DAZN does as part of his regimen on here not do a VPN and support the very thing he tries to constantly slate . :lol1:
Notice also that there was no argument
It’s on DAZN.
“DAZN, the global sports entertainment platform, today confirms that it will broadcast the Oleksander Usyk vs. Anthony Joshua heavyweight world title rematch on Saturday, Aug. 20, to subscribers live around the world in over 190 territories, including the United States, Canada, Spain, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Poland (excluding the UK, Ireland, MENA, and Ukraine). The main event begins at approximately 9:00 am PST / 12:00 pm EST / 18:00 CET and will be available in both English and Polish commentary. “

Use a VPN and connect to a Ukraine server, then you can watch for free on YouTube.
Or don’t. There is always the other option of actually paying $20 for a month of DAZN. That’s a fair price and you don’t have to compromise your integrity (not that I’m always above that) to watch.
It’s on DAZN , non PPV event .
The trolls will have a heart attack on here . :lol1:
I keep assuming it's on DAZN but haven't seen any confirmation yet.
It's not on the schedule for DAZN Australia yet either.
EDIT - scratch that. They announced literally 20 minutes after my first post!

This has been the worst promotion for a big fight I’ve seen. Truly shambolic. Shame on Hearn for selling himself for oil money. Hearn is destroying boxing
TV rights are owned by the Saudis aren't they?
To anyone claiming that DAZN is carrying this fight -- can you provide a recent, primary source? I'm still incredulous.
Odd that there doesn't seem to be overwhelming amount of concern amongst stateside fans that the fight will be unavailable.
The rumors are it will be dazn in the US but it isnt signed yet. At this point their is no US tv.

Hearn always uses a specific promoting tactic.
He will do nothing, until about 1 week out from the fight. I have complained about this before.
I once seen him say that he deliberately uses this tactic of marketing in a interview.
Shock and awe. He states that this is how you get the attention of casual fans.
Boxing fans, well? As you know we have all been debating about this fight for months and months.
Our attentions spans don't need to be hit with 'In the moment explosive marketing'.
I think Hearn thinks it is better to explode and suddenly shove the fight in people's faces.
Sky Sports are probably still using Eddie Hearns tactics. Starting from mid-week next week, I think more promotion about the fight will appear.
The best promoted fight in recent times for me, was Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury III.
What TV channel is it on and can I live stream it?
Joshua vs Usyk 2 will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK.
Sky Sports won the bidding war for the rights to show the event - with the UK rights for the fight not part of AJ's DAZN deal.
DAZN will be showing the fight in the rest of the world.
The PPV will cost viewers a record £26.95, the most expensive fight to purchase in UK history.
It will be on DAZN in the US I'm sure
EDIT: never mind, now I'm very confused, it is nothing confirming it is on DAZN in the U.S.
Add the 2 after their names and a Pocket-Lint link comes up and says it's on DAZN in the US at $59.99 on PPV.
Not to be contentious at all, but I would love to see it from a primary source.
That's for the first fight, not the rematch.

I've just checked. It's on DAZN for 170 countries that includes the US.
Just type "Is Joshua vs Usyk on DAZN in the US?" into Google and it's the second link that comes up for a DAZN piece.

I know there are a lot of sources that suggest that, but I don't think so. You can even go to https://www.dazn.com/en-US/home and see that there's nothing about Joshua-Usyk II.

Anyone know how/where I can watch Joshua-Usyk II in the United States? | BoxingScene Community
