So I can overprice myself." 1556666005530857473 I've been saying for months the fight isn't happening next - Crawford doesn't have the leverage to demand 50-50. People have got mad at me saying I don't want to see the fight, which is nonsense, I'm just level headed about it. A guy with no promoter and a track record of doing poor numbers doesn't have the leverage to walk over to a new promotional company and demand 50-50. That's not my opinion - that's how things go. People saying "50-50 is enough, Spence should take the fight to give the fans what they want".... that logic also applies to "40% is enough for Crawford, he should take it to give the fans the fight they wanna see". Spence has a lot of options. What's Crawford going to do? Fight Virgil Ortiz on DAZN? Dangerous fight for a fraction of the money.

Somebody needs to tell these two that they are not on Mayweather`s and Pacquiao`s star power level. It is a big fight, but just that. It is not like it is as big as Mayweather - Pacquiao. That’s where you’re wrong, man. Terence “TBE” Crawford is a bigger attraction than both Mayweather and Pacquiao combined. He’s the clear shot-caller and PPV draw and should get an 80/20 split if he chooses to.

I like both, but not a fanboy of either. Just worth noting since the thread seems to be full of them. However, it seems pretty obvious to me what has happened. Crawford left Top Rank to make this fight happen. I'll give the benefit of the doubt to Spence and say PBC simply don't want to risk it or it would've been done by now. Spence needs to tell them to just make it if he believes in himself.

It has been taking too long and it usually means that it is not going to happen. On the flip side they might have both guys take and interim fight before they meet. It is all business. I don't like when they negotiate via the media. It is like a preemptive excuse.

Of course it makes sense. If they're having such big problems and not even talking to Crawford yet, they must be having a hard time getting Spence what he wants. It's not making any sense in the sense that it's looking like Spence's people are not trusting the numbers Espinoza is presenting like potential earnings, etc. Which probably doesn't match what the Errol team is expecting. I mean who knows more about the numbers than the network executive himself?
