Errol Spence Jr. and Terence Crawford are closing in on a deal for an undisputed welterweight championship fight in October in Las Vegas, sources tell ESPN. No agreement yet, but no real stumbling block. PBC PPV for this genuine super fight.

No surprise, but glad we are finally going to get the big fight at WW.
Who you guys got?
Skills pay the bills
Spence is great at what he does has the size and strength but he doesn't have the tools and adjustments to his game like Bud
Bud by decision
Spence did not really start all that fast vs Ugas. Even against Danny he started to turn it up from like round 4 on. But yes, he will need to get out to a quick start as eventually the fight will turn into a super competitive back and forth battle. The fight likely goes 12 and the loser's fanbase will cry robbery. Surprise surprise lol.
More often than not Spence starts fast. Those two fights are coming off of long layoffs. The Crawford fight if it’s in October is going to be his fastest turnaround in how many years.
Something is telling me that Spence Junior is there for the taking. But? There is no denying Spence Junior's clutch game.
This man turns to to fight at his best, in all of his biggest fights.
A fighter can win, but still under perform or do certain things better. You can very rarely look back and Spence Junior's biggest fights and claim that he has under-performed.
His win against Garcia after his accident was his best ever win for me. At the time, I suggested that he should of just vacated his belts and worked on coming back into the game slowly. I did not expect him to take on such a big challenge so quickly.
I don't think Crawford at Welter Weight has fought at the same level as Spence Junior. Spence Junior has better wins, and both his wins over Porter & Brook were against those fighters when they were in way better condition.
Kell Brook was probably about 50% better.
Is there another Level which Crawford can go up? That is the impression he gives me.
This is a 52/48 fight, I am ever so slightly favoring Spence Junior 'But this could all change as the fight draws closer'.
Spence starts fast, Crawford doesn’t. If that sticks I can see Spence banking rounds early and he obviously gets better as the fight goes on. Crawford heats up towards the early mid rounds so from there it’ll be a chess match between the two. 8-4 Spence if I was picking based on that.

Bud just has too much agility and cat like reflexes to get beat by Spence. Spence should’ve fought Bud 2 years ago when he hadn’t filled into WW and he would’ve had a much better chance than now. Bud wins

I'm picking Bud but it could go either way. If Spence repeats his performance against Bud like he just fought Ugas it can go bad for Bud but on the same token the volume punching plays into Bud and counter punching. If either guy gets hurt though both are excellent finishers so it's a pick em kinda fight.
I don't know. I watched that fight again and while Spence picked it up and got the stoppage, I didn't like how he was over extending and getting off balance so much early on. Also, I think Ugas hurt him to the body a couple of times but I don't think he even knew. To be fair, I felt the same way about Bud in the Porter fight. The end result kinda hides the stuff before it
I think it will be great because both guys are slightly post their peaks but close enough to their primes for it to be exciting.
Great fight for the sport and for the fans. May the best man win. I've always favoured Spence in this match-up, but Bud has proven me wrong before so I'm not counting him out at all.
Spence resume is so under rated if he beats Crawford he may have the best resume in boxing.
Seriously though.
Going to be crazy if he does win because he's going to move up and continue the domination.
It'll get real dicey when he reaches 160 though. Because Charlo will be there and the other Charlo at 168. Gonna have to fight his homies if they aren't with the program.
lmfaoooo, I voted the wrong dude.
Let it be known!
Errol Spence Jr is going to beat Terence Crawford.
Period.
Big Fish things. Strap Season in full effect.
Never Picked a Side, Never Bashed Either Fighter and I've always liked and rooted for both fighters so for me I really don't care who wins, just hoping for a GREAT FIGHT that Delivers because that is what the sport needs. It needs for its "Big Fights" to live up to the Hype!
Spence could easily pushed the issue and demand the fight be in Texas and he would have every right to do so but he seems to be willing to give a little to get this fight done which is great. Both working, Spence was running in New York after the Tank Davis Fight, Bud is said to be in Colorado so clearly something in the works which is GREAT NEWS!
