In the grand tradition of posters opening themselves up for ridicule... May I present the Rolly Romero bandwagon anyone with me?

I'm sure Romero would try to use the the Isaac Cruz style as one of their game plans. I'm just not sure if he would be as brave and as active as Cruz.

I am on the train , I hated him after the Marinez fight because I felt he lost and the post fight interview pissed me off .But I grew up rooting for heels in wrestling Rolly is a great fooking heel he grew on me TBH .......I think he will spark tank out !!!!!!!!!!

Not in 1 fight it doesn't. People criticize Tank for fighting lesser opponents and I understand the criticism but he really doesnt get the credit he deserves for ability. The Barrios fight he was losing and found that extra gear to finish strong and stop him. If I was training Rollie for this fight I would tell him to watch what Fury did after Cunningham dropped him, and watch how Holyfield was coached and dealt with Tyson... I would want him to just come in and attack Tank's balance by pushing him off balance constantly, so even if Tank connected he would have no power. I would want him to be relentless this way, bullying Tank and just putting his weight on Tank while throwing stuff inside, smothering him and never giving him space... treating him like the smaller opponent, the "midget" he calls Tank. Cruz is actually someone who could help Rollie also... Cruz is legit a pressure guy and if Rollie could do half of what Cruz did... and this is what I don't like about team Rollie's thinking: He sort of gaslights Cruz's performance, mistaking the size of Cruz as a slight on Tank... He should be looking at Cruz' success and understanding WHY Cruz did well, because he has to fight a similar fight. What I like about Rollie is that he seems to understand that his size could play a relevant factor in his success... If he can press... Something I don't think he can do as well as Cruz because IMO Cruz REALLY does have a lot of potential and talent. I mean I joke about Rollie but I actually do think Cruz could be like Andre Ward was before the super middle tourney... Someone counted out who turns out to be very very talented. But yeah, if Rollie tries to trade, Tank will probably light him up. Tank has more ability at this point... Rollie needs to come into his own as a puncher and bully Tank around to show he can hang.

In the spirit of the bandwagon IF Tank smokes Rolly is it gonna be that scenario where all people on the bandwagon bail out like rats jumping of a sinking ship? Not sure how I see a path to victory for Rollie. He is awkward and unpolished. He has a very unimpressive amateur career compared to Tank. I think Rollie gets sloppy and will get caught with some uppercuts and hooks while charging in and swinging. Would love to be wrong and see Tank get planked, but Rollie is a cherry pick and I'd be surprised if he lasts the distance. Hope you're right Bill.

If Romero were any good Davis wouldn't be fighting him in the first place.

Redeemer once accused me of not picking, being on the fence... and you know what? he was right! its hard to disengage the logical mind... I've seen Romero leave the jab out, loop de loop his punches... lose horribly to martinez, etc. But sometimes we just have to be a fan and say im going into the passionate, unreasonable side... Rolly is a puncher and by God, if he can power through Tank, like Holly did to Tyson, not back off, just push in and forward... The kid has a chance! And yes Pigs can fly! Who is with me? i will take the heat! If larry can proclaim Bronner as the next coming, I can declare that Rolly will catch Tank! And I will probably have a great nice dish of crow waiting for me! Haha, I hate picking a side in boxing when you know whose favorited to win but who you want to win or to shake things up. Obviously Rolly isn't as technically sound as Tank and we do not know how well his chin is but damn I would love to see things get shaken up. With that, I would love to pick Rolly to win this fight.
