His fans are the same people who hate mayweather, shakur because they are "loudmouths." And when 2 christian humble fighters like Bud and Ward come along they hate on them the same.
We know what time it is.
Another loudmouth with 40-50 fights you have to go to boxrec b/c you can't remember any of his opponents.
I actually remember more of Shane Mosley Jr's opponents than his.
My god, let’s just pretend your highly intelligent and work for NASA. If I said you were “ducking” Walmart. Would that make any sense to you?
Don't shoot the messenger.
Bivol would dominate Zurdo, different level of fighters. Bivol just beat the p4p best fighter on the planet without breaking a sweat. Even before that, he had achieved more in less than 20 pro fights than Zurdo, who has more than double that. Bivol hasn't been in a close fight as a pro yet and he's fought top competition, Zurdo has been in close fights with mediocre competition.
I hope Bivol is a heavy favorite so I can place a bet because this to me is a closer fight than most predict.
If he can't get the undisputed bout signed or Canelo II then sure he should fight his mando. I don't usually like the term 'ducked'- think it's generally stupid not to mention disrespectful - but avoiding a mandatory in the absence of a significantly bigger fight is as close as it gets to 'ducking' for me.
That said Zurdo shouldn't be sitting on his ass either if Bivol goes a different direction... Mundo vs Zurdo might sound like a comedy skit but should actually be a pretty decent fight... that's two big dudes. I'd also like to see Zurdo vs Vlasov II... that fight was close way back in what.. 2015 or so and many saw it going Maxim's way... reckon that'd be a worthwhile one to rerun.
That's a good fight, Zurdo vs Smith, I see fireworks when I envision them trading.
Good post, thanks for your vote.
They know each other from sparring sessions, but is their hesitation from Bivol's side?
Quack quack...

It's crazy man. The guy has nearly 50 pro fights and hasn't fought a top level guy, whilst struggling with opposition like Vlasov and Hart. He would barely win a round against Bivol imo and I don't even want to imagine what Beterbiev would do to him.
The guy moved up to 175 and then literally sat on the shelf for 2 years to get out of his contract because he didn't want to face Beterbiev :lol1: People can say all they want about Arum, but Bob was pushing Zurdo to the moon and Zurdo wanted none of it.
The truth is, these guys he's been fighting are nowhere close to the top 10 at LHW. And every time he fought C level or better comp he almost lost.
I'll take Vlasov, Smith, Pasal, Brown, anyone with a pulse.
Zurdo vs Browne? Now that'd be a nice fight. Hadn't really thought of that one.
Zurdo just looked good against a guy he outweighed by 30lbs (a guy nobody had even fking heard of before the fight was signed) so he's obviously the most ducked guy in the world.
