Ugh. I like Teddy, but I just couldn’t watch this. Atlas tries too hard sometimes to be entertaining or clever. Couldn’t get to the point, making movie references he couldn’t even get right. (As a film buff I knew right away he was talking about the classic film Network.) Then all this crap about alibis and latex gloves. Please. If that’s what his show is like, I’m stunned they have 250,000 subscribers.
Agreed. He can ramble for 20 minutes about absolutely nothing. People act like he's this great analytical boxing mind but he pretty much just gives emotional hot takes of his first approximation. Maybe it's a New York thing.
Saw this earlier two and I feel like Atlas actually gave us fans a look into what happens behind the scenes. He made some very valid points. Giving your guy the first four rounds to cover the bases for a win in case of a stoppage due to an accidental head butt. ...
I don't remember how the early rounds went, but all judges only gave Canelo the first 2 rounds in the first GGG fight ... and GGG got the first round on all scorecards in the second fight. So this doesn't seem to be a trend.
so teddy didn't actually score the fight, thought canelo won 2 OR 3-4 rounds, implied that canelo didn't win round 9 which was the round that everyone definitely thought he won. i was with him up until the round 9 spiel about the judges letting him pull ahead to "bring it on home". always fun hearing teddy's take on things though
He said he believed Canelo may have won round 9. Round 9 was still close however and after watching Canelo clearly lose the 4 preceeding rounds, many may be encouraged to give him the one actually close round.
Teddy being extra as hel as usual. Never forget the cringe fireman speech that he gave Tim bradley. Like relax dog Bradley would have beaten Rios with Fing beetlejuice training him.

If Teddy is saying a fix was in place for this fight. It means there was no fix. Atlas’ predictions always go the opposite direction.
To you and the other one who liked your post:
That is not a prediction. Lord!
True lol whether you agree with Atlas or not, he makes valid points. He’s also said that he don’t really give a damn about what he says. He does it for the fans. The man could really be kissing butt and still be commentating but he’s not. His opinion and analysis have credibility especially because of how long he’s been in the game. People should take their emotions out of this and realize that his comments have some truth.
He makes some very valid points. Despite the beating Canelo took he was always a round from a draw.
i thought the part about giving the house fighter the first 4 rounds in case of an accidental butt/cut was pretty good, something i never really considered before. that is a good base to cover if you're going to go all-out to fix a fight lol.

Giving your guy the first four rounds to cover the bases for a win in case of a stoppage due to an accidental head butt. Giving the other guy the 5th round to make it appear fair. Helping your guy until the final 2-3 rounds where it’s really up to your guy to bring it home. Very valid points that actually had me me intrigued. If this wasn’t implemented in the Canelo Bivol fight I can it being a plausible method in other fights. It makes sense. The system can be dirty af! And well know they screwed my boy GGG.
