Who has a better chance in their Rematches? Alvarez or Joshua

Great thread and Great question!!!! Honestly, I don't know... but I love both Bivol vs Canelo 2 and Usyk vs Joshua 2!!! Both are fights that I really don't know how to predict. Thanks. I actually think Alvarez can beat Bivol in the rematch IF he get his stamina under control. Bivol upped his pace & tested Saul conditioning, his conditioning failed him because he couldn't keep that pace. And once he tired, the rounds went from close Bivol rounds to outright dominating rounds....crooked judges not withstanding. Bernard Hopkins & Floyd Mayweather is a master of slowing the pace down of fighters who like to fight a mile a minutes...but both of them had good stamina if they HAD to use it, Alvarez does not.

Joshua just needs one punch. Canelo needs a whole new mindset.

Joshua. He is the bigger man and Usyk's face showed signs of damage after fighting no one in the ring. If AJ shows up this time he will get the victory. Bivol will always beat Canelo, he took a bridge too far by going for a guy in his prime @ LHW

Joshua was favourite but fought completely the wrong fight. That was most people's take? So of course he has a good chance. He's the bigger, stronger man. If he can find a way to use that he can win. But there's always the question of how Usyk will adjust - he's a master of adjustment. I'm just not convinced that Canelo can compete at the top end of LHW... but elite fighters find a way. It's not a done deal.

I watched AJ get his ass whipped from one end of the ring to the other. It was embarrassing for him. Nobody thought he should fight Ruiz. They said he had his number. AJ came back and destroyed Ruiz. I thought Canelo/GGG 1 was a draw or G edged him. Their second fight G took more punishment. Look at his face after that fight. Never seen him look that way. All that said, who ADJUSTED best? AJ all the way and I’m a Canelo fan. I didn’t see Canelo do anything that different in the second fight. AJ had a totally different plan and IMPLEMENTED it perfectly. I don’t think Canelo can beat this guy. Why? CAUSE HE CANT HURT HIM. Bivol is the only guy I’ve seen in the ring with Canelo that wasn’t bothered by his power.

Josh was rightfully favourite against usyk, so Josh has better chance. Nelo was underdog in 1st fight, so will find harder in rematch. But if they win thevrematches, well done. Josh winning against a pfp top man, and nel o beating bigger man with unbeaten record

Canelo doesn't have any physical advantages over Bivol the way Joshua does over Usyk, so I'd say Joshua, but you never know.

1st thing 1st, boxing fans have to be the most unappreciative group of fans I've ever seen. Everyone is saying that Joshua & Alvarez shouldn't fight Usyk or Bivol again in rematches...what do we want them to do then? Go fight bums for easy pick up fights. They told Wilder to stay away from Fury & not fight a 3rd fight (1st fight was a draw) & even thought he lost, he gave a good account of himself in that 3rd fight. Now on to my question, who has a better chance in their rematches? Alvarez or Joshua It is a more interesting question than it first appears. Its not really a question of who is better so much as who has a greater chance for success... AJ has a puncher's chance against any fighter. I admire Canelo's pluck...He is a great fighter. Problem for him is Bivol is strong enough to take his shots and walk him down. That is a lot to overcome. It should put in perspective how good Andre Ward was when he went up to Kovalev... lol. Canelo depends a lot oh his punches having an intended effect. His whole defensive manuveurs, his positioning is based on setting up accurate punches. So... if we ask hypothetically how Joshua would beat Usyk one would say " a very strong punch." But how could Canelo beat Bivol? He doesn't have the volume... he can't fight off the back foot, very few fighters can these days....

Joshua with his size and power has a chance. Clen can’t outbox or outfight Bivol.

Vegan Canelo beats on John Fury and Eddie Hills for fun (so I can see why you've dropped them from your P4P list), but loses by split decision to Scott Quigg John Fury keeps ducking people so Nash had to remove him. And Eddie Hills doesn't seem to want the Jake Paul smoke, so he went too. Vegan Canelo has potential, but as you can see, he's ranked well below Mexican beef Canelo. Scott Quigg needs to fight again to be considered, but agreed, he gives Vegan 'Nelo all he can handle. Nash out.
