I missed the post fight stuff, I was watching the fight with a bunch of friends and we were all buzzing and chatting about Whyte getting knocked into the next dimension. Was Haye bitter? What could he say? He had to give Tyson his props as he won ever round (even though he somehow gave Whyte round 2) He then threw in a few things like “Dillian didn’t seem himself tonight. Maybe it was the extra stone in weight he gained?” And things like that. Same script he did with Wilder after those fights. It’s all fake.

Eddie Hearn is a salesman. It is his job to hype his fighters. Hype is not truth. He knows that. Most intelligent people know that. All he cares about is whether you're watching. If you're proud that you recognised hype as hype, congratulations. Do you celebrate knowing that water is wet?

I'm just wondering why you do call them out and more so who exactly it is you are calling out. You say it's me but what it is you are trying to tell me doesn't really cover anything I've ever said. During the build up of Fury-Whyte there were multiple posters who were repeatedly telling everyone that Whyte's a top 3-5 heavyweight, the first fighter on that level Fury has faced and he will KO Fury. A lot of those same people are now saying that Whyte was never that good in the first place, no one ever said Whyte was a good win on AJ's resume and Fury beating him so easily doesn't mean anything because no one ever thought he had a chance in the first place. - That's who it was aimed at. If those people were honest and just said they got it wrong, no one would call them out on their bullshit. Hearn predicted Whyte would struggle to win rounds vs Fury and it was a "tough" fight. That is coded for I don't think my guy will win. I think sometimes some of you guys miss the point, the promoters job is to maximise the fighters earnings and help match them well. I think Hearn does a good job maximising his fighters earnings but definitely not the best matchmaker from my perspective. I think the guys like Warren, Arum are much more savy in that department and have reliable experienced people in their teams that really understand boxing styles and matchmaking. However the issue with this is that those same guys have been reluctant to put their fighters in 50/50 fights in the past and they have let the fans down. i think Hearn genuinely believes Joshua can beat every guy in the division, Whyte...not so much but he has done a good job promoting both guys imo, most fighters pick up losses when they get to top level
