I wonder if this delay will cause Usyk just to wait for the winner of Fury/Whyte in April.
Then have Hearn and the Saudi’s give AJ a big step aside offer with a guarantee to fight the winner next.
Seems that would be the best option. AJ shouldn’t jump into a rematch he’s likely to lose.
It's a bad situation for the Ukrainian fighters, I hope this doesn't affect their careers but it's very possible that it will. As for AJ v Usyk 2, it's not looking good for the foreseeable future. It's hard to tell if AJ even wants it, he doesn't seem anywhere near as keen for this rematch as he was for Ruiz. We'll see, it's a fight I wanted to happen to see the adjustments AJ makes, improvements Usyk may make, as well as a step closer to an undisputed fight.
It's not a delay caused by promoters/fighters playing silly games, unfortunately it's one of those unavoidable situations. I'm even more glad now that Fury v Whyte is signed since there might be potential delays with Usyk. It would've been a mess if AJ accepted a step-aside deal for Fury v Usyk which would've likely been delayed/cancelled because of the war in Ukraine and we'd potentially be left with no big fights at heavyweight.
True, but the battalion that Loma is helping is already in the fight of their lives. Russia wants Odessa and the port. He is located just to the west of Odessa too.
It needs to stop! Big chance that Putin keeps pushing West and this could turn into world war 3. It’s quite scary to look at what Putin may actually have in plan!
Prayers to the Ukraine
The actual plan is destroying Europe's middle-to-lower classes, whatever the means. Too long to debate here... but, really, fùck them all, these warmongers, wherever they come from.
As of now, looks like Vitali Klitschko is the one most exposed to risk... Kiev is about to be seriously attacked, apparently. Fingers crossed.

I know this sounds selfish, but I really, REALLY wish that at least Loma didn’t have to go back and fight in Ukraine. Like maybe the money he makes off his fights could go to funding the Ukrainian cause instead so at least he doesn’t have his career cut short (or even die).
I realize I’m supposed to keep the bigger picture in mind and that this isn’t what matters most at the end of the day, but it still sucks.

I think there's no doubt that it won't happen anytime soon... Usyk, Loma, Postol, Derevyanchenko will not be seen on a ring for a long time, I fear.
And no - Vitali and Wlad are not planning a comeback.

Joshua didn't looked that interested in the rematch anyway, I mean it's already March and he hasn't even picked a new trainer(that I know of)
tyson just said yesterday that usyk said he wouldnt be ready till june...
How can this fight still go ahead? Look at this report from CNN
