Rhyder has kinda of the same built as Canelo, has a good chin. Canelo is slow footed so Rhyder can back him up with his activity. Should make a good fight.
Canelo is still elusive fighter. Their opponents fight their career lowest punch accuracy. He has ATG level head and upper body movement. I rate Canelo between Floyd and Pac. He is not as flawless as Floyd but "better and more complete" fighter than Pac. Pac is greater fighter tho.
Overall Alvarez maybe is a more rounder fighter than Pacquiao from a technical perspective.
But? What attributes Pacquiao excelled at, they were levels above ANY of Alvarez attributes.
Canelo Alvarez has decent punching power, but is he one of the hardest hitting middle-weights of all-time? No.
Alvarez has a fairly good defense, but is he up there with the great defensive fighters of all time? No. And I think you can go through all of Alvarez's attributes and analyse them this way.
Manny Pacquiao's hand speed, and ability to throw combinations without resetting himself 'Can compete with the greatest fighters of all-time'. Also most likely at his peak, Pacquiao's punching power was also a level above Alvarez.
But overall I agree with you, technically Alvarez is most likely a more complete fighter. Fighters in amateur gyms, would benefit more by watching and studying Canelo Alvarez etc.
He completely dominated all fighters at 168 except BJS. Did Fielding, Avni and Callum even win a round combined? I don't remember. Plant barely won 2 rounds. Plant is well-known with his timing, handspeed and punch accuracy. His stats were pathetic. BJS is tricky southpaw and the most talented Canelo ever fought at 168. He won 2 rounds and fought poor 21% accuracy.
In conclusion, Canelo is very elusive fighter.
Most of those fighters you have mentioned are not elite level fighters. Alvarez from what I have seen, does not dominate fellow elite level fighters. While in comparison, Floyd Mayweather Junior & Manny Pacquiao both had the ability to dominate at elite level etc
Fielding? Nothing against the man, but he is a domestic level British fighter 'Solid European level fighter at best'. Plant was doing well vs Alvarez.
Canelo Alvarez is a great fighter, but he is a level below Mayweather & Pacquiao.
No it isn't. Canelo has shown next to no respect for anyones power bar maybe GGG. Canelo has never been particularly elusive, its just the shots he takes don't matter. You have no idea how draining it is to hit an opponent and have them still come forward. Ryder is just another name that'll likely end up embarassed by Alvarez.
Canelo Alvarez is not a elusive fighter. He drops rounds in almost every single fight, from top to bottom? He in my opinion is not dominating his opponents 'Even though this era of middle-super middle weights are below par'.
Alvarez will beat Ryder, if Alvarez is so great 'He should not drop a round to Ryder'.
Ryder is high risk and low reward. I don't see him getting a shot at Canelo unless he can beat another top level fighter and not by controversial decision in his backyard.
From what I saw of Ryder vs Jacobs, he would do well in lasting a little more than Rocky Fielding against Canelo.
Yeah, I don't get it. Have seen Ryder before and liked the prospect of his fight with Jacobs, but I def don't think he has a great shot at beating Canelo. I don't mind being wrong, though.
Alvarez opponents have a habit of doing well against him, then having sudden moments of deciding to loose.
I don't think it is impossible to win rounds against Alvarez, to land on him or even out work him.
Work rate, durability, and a solid jab is what you need. I don't think Rhyder has a good enough jab, and I think he will be to easy to hit.
In general the entire Middle-Weight to Super Middle Weight Divisions are below par 'Alvarez does not have much competition'.

Would you like to bet?
I would like to bet a lot of money on Canelo.
Or we can do a ban bet….as long as I get Canelo and you get Ryder lol

I think someone put something funny in your Hookah, Haka.
