I've not seen it yet, I'm always complaining about Davis but that's about his lack of fighting the top names when him and his team run their mouths so much but I think he looks a real high end talent regardless of my dislike.
So are we not just getting ahead of ourselves here? Did he have a bad night? Was he doing OK before he hurt his hand? Did he really hurt his hand or is it an excuse? Styles make fights and this could of just been an awkward one for him. Most top fighters have had an off night or an opponent who give them headaches. I've never heard much steam for Cruz before, he looks decent from what I've seen but not elite.
Or was he legit exposed? I expected Tank to roll right over this guy with a highlight reel KO.
I think we know why Tank has been ducking Loma since 2014. I think we know why Tank is fighting sub-tier opposition. The matchmakers know where Tank is at. The problem that I've always had with the PBC is the soft matchmaking that goes on over there. Instead of getting fighters into a real fight, like the one Tank had last night, the tendency is to match them with opposition not to test them but to make them look good. It's a different philosophy over there. This is why we're going to see Keyshawn Davis and Shakur Stevenson outshine Tank in the coming years. Top Rank knows what they are doing. The PBC not so much.
And to answer your question, yes, Tank was exposed because he's been hyped so much. I knew who Cruz was, which is why I had been calling this fight to be the next upset. But that's also because I know who Tank is.
What about everything else in the post?
You and those like you should be embarrassed by the way you posted about Cruz. Then to create this garbage thread asking about Tank? Bullshit.
nothing was wrong with Tank. What was wrong is the way you guys denigrated Cruz solely because you hate Tank, Floyd and PBC.
Lol you sound angry as fkk. Is it cuz he didn't dazzle? You qoute anything I've said that relates to anything you have said and we can discuss it and race all you wish.
Nah, I do believe he hurt his hand and then without his left he couldn't keep Cruz at bay, lost 10, 11, 12 imho but I'm ok with the 115-113 cards
Cruz surprised me, ate pretty good lefts and kept coming in.
I mean the guy he fought was supposed to be pretty good and he was allegedly fighting with an injury and still won. I've yet to see the fight so I can't really pass comment definitively but if all that is true then he can't have done too badly all things considered
Well we can talk about race all you want, and it is always you that wants to talk about race.

what happened is you and the rest of the anti pbc crowd, whether it was out of racism or just sheer stupidity, decided Cruz was a Mexican bum that had no chance of beating Tank in order to force it into the current narrative that PBC only employs Mexicans to lose to black boxers.
You guys did anything and everything to denigrate and lessen Cruz because Tank was favored to beat him and a lot of you don’t want to give Tank, Floyd or PBC any credit whatsoever.
Cruz fought like a world ranked LW is supposed to. He tried to win the fight. Tank found himself in a tougher than expected fight and found a way to win, a close fight.
Now I know you don’t want to discuss race but when Tank was about the same favorite over Cruz as Teo was Kambosis, Kambosis #1 ibf, Cruz #2, yet Cruz gets denigrated while Kambosis is elevated, you know exactly what the deal is. Only question is will you admit it?
Maybe next time a lot of you will judge the boxer not by his nationality, stereotypes of the boxers from the same country and who Tank works for, but on his merits.

Overrated but it's looking like everyone at 135 was. Time will tell with Garcia but imo,he will end up being the best, more accomplished fighter of the bunch imo.

He is not overrated, he is what he is, he holds secondary belt at 135 any way. First fight with a top 10 lightweight and he struggled badly.
Davis could be still very tough guy to beat for everybody at that weight, but he is no world beater like his fans believe.
Cruz and Tank are both pretty tough guys.
