He just said that he won the fight, and that the fans thought he won. These guys on the thread are just bit3hes causes Fulton looked bad in the fight. He came across like an asshole because Fulton was humble. Fig claimed that he hurt Fulton 5 times and nobody saw that shit. Fulton was humble and said it was a close fight. And when Fig kept repeating himself Fulton explained why he won. His punches landed cleaner and he wasn’t landing anything meaningful on Fulton. Quit crying crybaby.
I saw the exact opposite fight, I was rooting for Fulton who I thought was going to rule this division (even though I know Brandon was dangerous af in his own weird way that he fights) I thought Fulton looked underwhelming altogether tonight compared to the master boxer he looked in prior fights.
Just because Fulton didn't look as good when he previously fought lesser opposition, this doesn't mean he didn't do a batter job in the fight against Figueroa.
Second, Figueroa always goes in with no defense, looking like crap. He's only had luck with lesser opposition by over powering them with volume body shots. As we saw that only gets you so far and tonight we found out it was Fulton who has his number.
Rewatch it, you'll see how most of Figueroa's shots were missing and you see how clean Fultons shots were.
Also, If you all are judging the fight on who is taking steps back then you shouldn't be scoring fights.
Any Hispanic fighter that signs with the pbc deserve to lose. You ain’t getting the decision against a black fighter if the fight is close. Figgy deserved that L
Fulton was consistently winning 3 of the 4 scoring criteria for a fight(aggression, clean and effective punching, defense, ring generalship) and to be the supposed stronger inside fighter he got pushed back CONSTANTLY. Aggression is not everything bruh, learn to score fights like a judge not a fan.

Same here. I thought Fulton would outclass Figueroa, just thought he had more facets to his game. Watching the fight thought Fulton looked good not great. Only fighter visibly hurt was Fulton and he took more steps back.
Figueroa doesn't learn shit from fight to fight. No surprise that when the compition improves he loses.
Fulton was the superior boxer who landed more accurately and consistently. The scores were spot on. I'm from the same area as Brandon and was rooting for him, but I'm completely objective and I'm calling it as it is...Fulton did exceptionally well.

I feel sorry for the judges for once, ridiculously hard fight to score.
I had fig winning 8 rounds but with zero confidence due to too many close rounds.
That is there job bro
I personally had it a draw....Tough fight to score, had a feeling Fulton's work in the early rounds was going to get more respect from the judges. He just landed the more eye opening shots and some crisp counters even though Figueroa was working the body.
Great fight!
What'd he say (I turned it off after the cards were read)
