nonsense. boxing is always trying to fleece it's fans. I get it boxing is a business as well as a sport but damn yo there's got to be a limit to this madness. arrieola vs andy ruiz ppv or ortiz vs martin on ppv really? or how about stank davis vs some nobody? how are these building up to big fights?
What a priick.
True, but the fans have got to support the sport to build the big fights, its kinda like one feeds the other, boxing is caught up in a social system that is like a monster just rolling along.
Was interesting where he pointed out the ATGs resumes and how many duds were on them, how fans are breaking the modern fighters balls. I like where he said why cant fans just enjoy the sport, reminded me of all the hate in this forum. nonsense. boxing is always trying to fleece it's fans. pretty sure its the structure where the best dont fight the best and the fans just respond to that, if the best nfl teams kept playing the worst over and over and pretended to be the best nfl fans would be pissed and rightfully so you are right. the best don't fight the fight best. you have corrupt sanctioning organizations who favor certain fighters over others. or they just get bribed by bigger promoters to give their fighters title shots. you got ten different belts for each weight class. this is why ufc has surpassed boxing in the mainstream. ufc will continue to take fans away from boxing unless the sport of boxing gets it's shit together. By the way ufc has been on fire recently! straight flames!
