Who's calling him the next coming of Ali? All I'm asking would Benavidez defeat Makabu.
"A young hungry fighter" Yeah he was hungry alright, ate himself to a belt strip when he couldn't make weight.
Keep crying though hoe. You just mad Puto Rico has no champions and electricity at the moment.
of course you go back to the nationalist payaso you are. Your that guy that mumbles his way through the Mexican national anthem and say your a Guerrero haha.
your god had to make his own weight class in order to avoid GGG don’t forget. Now he’s got another viable opponent and he’s going to make believe land again. Make sure you wash that Canelo Alvarez hat it smells like puto piss
Because its called path of least resistance, its fairly obvious to see what team Canelos MO is, yo yoing between divisions seeking out the weakest beltholders & then claiming he's going for greatness and challenging himself.
I think team Canelo are extremely smart, they know Canelo is good but not great, if they knew he was great then he would of been thrown in with golovkin instead of ducking him for years. If he was great, the judges wouldn't need to be rigged. If they knew he's so great, they wouldn't feel the need to take PEDS after losing to golovkin 1.
You know what, they are smart choosing the opponents. But they think all fans are stupid. All
big slow and useless, fought one fighter that anyones heard of and got stopped in 3 rounds, seemed to be rocked every time he got hit. canelo is a 1/7 favourite for a reason, if it was mission impossible like canelo fans are making out why is he such a heavy favourite against this supposed cruiserweight killer
NoBody said it was mission impossible (you are the 1st I've seen say this) 1/7 odds were the same odds ggg had v Jacobs & basically same as bud bus v Porter,& way closer than Usyk v Chisora & Breidis
(the 2 wins you think are ATG for a guy Usyks size but to you a 5'7" midget isn't impressive for going to the #2 champs division with no tune ups)
Man tell me that you are joking!!! I am dying laughing over here!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D
You gotta read the thread I linked above man... all kindsa crazy shit happened... just reading through it I forgot that Ciesleks promoters had been robbed by policemen too - possibly fake, possibly real - in their hotel as well. And yeah literally the outdoor ring was still being built a few hours before the fight.
Makabu vs cieslak was my favourite fight of the year.
They fought somewhere in congo in a very poorly put together venue. In a park with plastic chairs.
Cieslak didnt receive his money on time and was threatening to pull out, then the promoter came by with a bag of cash lol.
During the fight they ended rounds prematurely when makabu was hurt and let rounds go significantly longer when cieslak was hurt.
That was incredible, remember trying to sort out a stream and then there was this kinda on again off again thing, then the news came that they were still in the mifddle of building a ring... then it comes out that basically the Congolese sports minister / general miltary badass guy is like Ilunga's cousin or some shit, then Cieslak getting the guns pointed at him... crazy shet.:lol1:
Lemme dig up the thread for a reminder, hold up...

Who Knows and Who Really Cares? Nobody Watches Cruiserweight Boxing! Of course I watched a few Usyk, Dorticos and Gassiev fights during that Tournament but other than that, even as a Hardcore I never really gave a sh^t about Cruiserweight so who really even knows
I doubt he would be but it’s neither her me nor there.
Okolie has beaten 1 ranked opponent in his career.
Yet he's ranked by the likes of and ESPN and Transnational boxing above Makubu. Not so by Ring. Their ranking(s) or the ranking of their past opponents like Glowacki, Durdola or Cieslak aren't my reasoning behind picking Okolie as the tougher challenge. It's because i think he presents the tougher challenge to Canelo than Makabu does.
Team Canelo have weighed it all up, just like they did at LHW before taking their pick. That's not to say Makubu isn't good, or a threat, he is, but there's a reason he's been chosen ahead of the other champs, who are also an easier sell. The possible 190 WBC limit would no doubt been a swaying factor too i'd imagine.

I like your angle here... It sounds a bit like the great Chisora Haye fight that the British Boxing council was so determined to block lol. Turned out to be one of the best heavyweight dust ups in years.
Just personal opinion i guess you could call it. I rate Okolie more than Makabu and I imagine he'd be favourite if the 2 ever fought.
He offers a greater physical puzzle than Makabu, there's something team Canelo see in Makabu which saw him chosen. His status as WBO champ would of made a fight for Okolie's WBO title made smoothly if so desired.

It’s on boxrec. He even knocked out the guy who defeated Roy Jones and Tarver.
That’s insane. Roy Jones is like the goat and he knocked out the guy who knocked out the goat
I wonder why not take on Breidis, Dorticos should be right there too, if he really wants to challenge himself.
Maybe acclimatising to the weight first seems a bit strange to bulk up like that for a one off fight.
How is Okolie better than him fighting Makabu?

He’s a legit cruiser weight world champion that has knocked out other cruiser weights.
Hes a legit challenge for a smaller guy who was fighting below 160 just a few years ago.

why keep mentioning he beat old ass glenn johnson?
He's ranked higher at CW now due to the likes of Gassiev and Usyk moving on from the division.
I guess fighting him instead of Briedis, Okolie and Dorticos is similar to facing Kovalev instead of Bivol and Beterbiev.
