Smaller/regular fights usually with a female companion or my brother and father (huge hardcore boxing fights). Big PPV events with more people but we try to invite individuals who at least have some understanding of boxing. I really can’t go to bars anymore or watch them with complete idiots who don’t understand the sport and shout out misinformed crap.
I never like watching in large groups, I generally like to watching the undercards and people are always talking over it and annoying clueless about boxing anyway.
I like to watch it in peace usually. Generally cook something nice during the undercard while I’m watching. Sichuan hot pot is usually the one.
Sometimes I watch with my girlfriend, she enjoys it and gets into it.
Now that I’m older I really enjoy watching the fights alone with some whiskey. I like to really focus on what I’m watching. I found that hard to do when I was younger and did fight parties. People seemed like they just came to get drunk and make noise and hardly watched the fight. But that’s my friends. It’s rare that I get to watch a fight with my dad these days but that’s always been my favorite. The man picks up on everything.
Since I watch every single televised card, I usually watch them alone.
But for big fights people come over. At minimum my dad and my brother, and often at least a couple of my friends.
I usually drink and smoke weed while watching.
Back in the day...damn, wow, like a decade ago...where has the time gone. Anyways, back in the day I always had fight parties. Peeps would chip in $5 and would all bring beer, wings, chips, etc. Smoke outdoors ofc (cigs, tree) and do some drinking games while we got through some of the early fights. Good times man.
Nowadays though it's sober and alone. Just part of growing up
The bold is precious. Time to reflect.
Used to watch it with a bunch of homies back in the day
But now, I prefer to chill solo and watch the fights. Got tired of people asking dumb questions and talking obnoxiously during big matches lol Prefer the quietness, so I could analyze the action in peace

Yeah, I used to gather a few people to watch fights. Those days have faded away.
When I was in Edmonton me and my uncle used to go up to old John's to watch the fights. Nowadays I just eatch crackstreams or sportsurge on my phone. Unless it's a Canelo fight I watch it on the family laptop. And when Pacquiao was fighting it was always a social event!
Used to have ppv parties, be trashed even before the main event popped up. End up watching the next day sober alone, lol.
Nowadays, I watch random fights on YouTube while I eat dinner and when I'm smoking. Probably just 3 times a week, got shht to do. It sucks
Used to be with my brothers and cousin playing poker, drinking beer and after the fights we would head out to the casino but they all got kids now. Fights like tonight I usually order some food and stay and watch with my lady, bigger events I usually have friends or family over but those are rare events now. Like many people have said that's part of growing up I guess
Usually alone and with some beers. Sometimes my brother or dad will stop by. Got my neighbour into boxing and he used to come over every Saturday but he has turned into the bubble boy since covid hit.
Lol that bubble boy reference killed me.
In mid to late 90s with family and friends, usually in a sports bar. It was good times. Now it's even better. Alone with my weed and bud, total focus on the fights that are a must see, on my computer. I think the Benevidez fight would be good tonight.
On the porch with my homies. Everyone drinks 40s of the cheapest malt liquor we can find while streaming the fight on my crusty laptop. Then reality sets in and I remember I live in the sticks and have no friends and post troll threads on boxingscene for the attention I crave.
Oh wait that's someone else.
