Does a prime Roy Jones Jr at 168lb KNOCKOUT Canelo?

Roy Jones, a guy with 9 defeats, who lost TWICE to a bum like Antonio Tarver, and managed to only get the IBF title in Supermiddleweight, would have KOed a prime Canelo Alvarez?! Hahahaha ok ok. Its amazing how this forum is so full of Canelo haters, almost everybody hear writes with their guy and not with their brain. Just remember one thing, if Canelo wins, he'll always be remembered as the first UNDISPUTED Supermiddleweight Champion in history. The best Roy Jones Jr was in Light Heavyweight, where he got 3 of the 4 major belts. That's prime Roy Jones, but some casuals in here don't seem to know that. Probably looks like RJJ vs Toney This was the first thing that popped into my head. Both Canelo and Toney have/had great defense and counter-punching ability but just can't compete with Roy speed and movement.

RJJ would probably do to Nelo what May did to him. Pretty much win every rd. Which isn't a knock against Nelo.

Canelo has a pretty iron chin. GGG couldn't knock him out or even hurt him. But if anyone could knockout Canelo it would be a prime Roy. For this to happen though, Canelo would probably have to go for broke and put himself in vulnerable positions. In other words, he couldn't try to outbox Roy, because Roy will just outbox him worse than Floyd. Roy would probably be happy to just easily outbox Canelo too, so unless Canelo applies a relentless pressure Roy would probably be content to get a point decision. I haven't looked but what prime guys did Roy NOT KO ? does Canelo rank with any of them or is he better ?

Roy wins every round here. Canelo s a very small 168 guy. he is a good fighter fighting very average guys at 168. Roy was a big 168 guy, he would have al advantage. Big factor people miss: the difference in size... Canelo can avoid being Koed but... cannot use his great counter punching because Jones is too fast. Cannot move enough and will not be able to catch Roy on the ropes, or other wise... It would look like the Toney fight IMO. No shame to Canelo... who is really a juiced up middle weight. Middle weight is canelo's division.
